Nice leather backpack. I will be using it as a carryon for the first time on a trip in January. Good construction of quality leather & metal hooks & rings & zippers. has room for a laptop, iPad, iPhone & a couple days of clothes. I like the styling & design. Heavy durable leather. My husband has used 2 Swiss gear backpacks that lasted quite a while so we will see if this one stands up to the challenge. Seems sturdy only worry that the zippers won’t last as long as the actual bag. Read more
It's a bit to narrow, it bends at the bottom of the bag and won't stand up properly because it has no "feet" on the bottom, if you're going to use it as a piece of luggage and hold it by the handle on the side then that may not matter to you, I use it as a backpack so that matters to me, the straps use metal hardware which is why I bought it, my last one used plastic and one side broke rendering it almost useless, the problem with the metal hardware is that you keep having to readjust the straps to often because when there's no tension on them they can loosen, overall quality is very good though.
