Use this in my strawberry cheesecake matcha milk. Love the blend well, don't need to sweeten more even for just my matcha milks as it is already super sweet. Mixes easy and smoothly. I think it's a good if not great starter to people who want latcha powder but do not want to commit to the entire process of prepping the matcha alone. Though I have a matcha kit and I personally whisk this and my milk together vs. dumping it in and stirring. Read more
I usually prefer unsweetened matcha but decided to give this sweetened matcha a try. The matcha comes in a resealable bag which I found pretty convenient. I usually feel like new brands of matcha give me an unsatisfying color and taste but this one was an exception. The color was pretty nice and green & also tasted pretty good. I used the matcha in a matcha latte & also sifted it so the powder is pretty fine and not clumpy which is a huge plus when it comes to matcha powder. Read more

I was so excited to try this product. I've been wanting to try Matcha for a long while. I read up on this brand, and I really like that most people, and especially experienced Match drinkers, have a high opinion of this brand in particular. I was a little nervous reading how some less refined matcha teas are bitter. One thing I need to mention though about this particular bag of tea (120 g) is that it is small fairly flat bag to begin with, and it is a small amount of tea powder inside of the small bag to top it off. What I'm saying is you are getting a small amount of tea powder for a sort of steep price here. (in my opinion.) And when you read the serving for one cup of Matcha Tea Latte is one "heaping" tablespoon, to 8 oz. of milk, that seems like quite a large serving out of this small amount of powder. (The information says, "8 servings total" and that seems about right in my estimation. Now to the good news, first of all this does have a really good flavor to it. No bitterness at all. Also, it is quite sweet, and pleasant to the taste, they sweetened it with "pure cane sugar." This is like a very "green and grassy" tasting Chai tea latte, if I had to compare it to something for anyone, like myself, who isn't familiar with matcha yet, nor what a sweetened latte mix blend would be like. The other good news, and this is a matter of personal opinion, is that I think that 1 tablespoon of this powder to 8 oz. of milk is way too much! It is too sweet the flavor is almost too intense and too "grassy" for me. I think that I could (and will) easily cut this down to half a tablespoon of the matcha to the 8 oz. of heated milk and it will be even more enjoyable that way! So, I think that I will get many more servings out of this than originally I thought I would. Going on flavor and freshness alone, I would get this "Two Leaves and a Bud Barista Matcha Blend" again in a heartbeat. I do wish it was more though for the price it is set at. Read more
