To be completely honest, I didn't really know how good this would be. I have ordered the pre measured and packaged matcha before (from other brands) and I really wasn't impressed with the quality. It made me feel like the stuff that got put in the single serve packs was the stuff that wasn't good enough to sell loose. I went ahead and ordered this anyways because I appreciated the company was US based and really loved that this is certified organic. The bag arrived quick, sealed and marked with an expiration date. The packaging is nice looking, upscale (not cheep) and the back has a wealth of information. Inside the resealable pouch are the matcha packs, which are easy to tear open and use, but durable enough that they can survive in my purse. The sticks really do contain the perfect amount of matcha per cup. I really appreciate being able to skip the measuring step and have a cup when I'm at work or away from my house. I'll note that I have made this with a sive and bamboo wisk and I have also poured it in a cup and mixed it with a spoon- not with the whole process and dedicated tools. While preparing it the proper way (minus the measurement part) is always going to be the best route to take, I was pleasantly suprised at how well this mixed without the wisk. Before I go on, I will note that I love the taste of a good matcha- plain. I don't do sweetener and I don't add any type of cream. I love (a good matcha) for what it is, and when you drink it plain like that, differences in quality are very noticeable. The powder is an absolutely beautiful, bright and vibrant jade green color. It's totally uniform and doesn't have any bits that are darker or lighter. You can immediately pick up on the super fresh, earthy and grassy notes when you are sifting it, without any old or musty odorss. When sifting, the light, silky powder gently falls down into the cup, without lumps or chunks. As I mentioned, this mixes beautifully with the wisk, and doesn't get clumpy in the water. While a regular spoon or fork aren't the greatest tools to use, the powder is so fine that even they will mix this suprisingly well. The taste is...AMAZING! This is exactly how I think matcha should be! It's fresh, light, clean tasting and not bitter at all! Because there is no sweetener added, I really don't want to call it sweet (because I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea), however there is a very slight, and very plesant sweetness to this. It is absolutely delightful and doesn't make my mouth feel dry at all. This matcha totally dispels my idea that only the lesser quality stuff goes in the packets because this is probably some of the absolute best powder I've ever had (that I've made at home). I'm not going to disagree that this does carry a higher price tag, but I will argue that given the exceptional quality, with the fresh, creamy and not at all bitter taste AND the fact that this is certified organic- the $1.63 per serving is actually VERY reasonable! If you don't like matcha because you think it's bitter, then you have never really tasted GOOD matcha, and this is 100% it! No doupt I love the convience of these sticks and will continue to buy them, but I was so impressed with the overall quality that I immediately bought the 1oz tin of ceremonial matcha from these guys too and I can confidently say that it is the same amazing and delicious stuff that's in the sticks. This brand very quickly made me a mega fan! Read more

Each stick comes with a good amount of matcha, but my only complaint is that each stick is more than a dollar. It's nice not having to measure out how much matcha I want, and I can just bring this anywhere I want. It's good for when I go to work because I only have access to coffee, but this allows me to rip open a stick and get some boiling water from the coffee machine. Read more

This is a lovely match. The single-serve sticks are portioned at 1.5g, making it easy to prepare a ceremonial-grade cup in minutes. Ceremonial matcha is traditionally used in a Japanese tea ceremony, or chanoyu, a ritual that emphasizes mindfulness, respect, and harmony. The matcha itself is rich, smooth, and 100% organic, with no fillers or additives, making it ideal for purists. I love that it’s shade-grown and first-harvest, ensuring vibrant color and flavor. One downside is that the pre-portioned sticks might not work if you like customizing your servings. Preparation is simple—just whisk with hot water until frothy. Overall, it’s a convenient way to enjoy the elegance of ceremonial matcha. (Review is for Two Leaves and a Bud Organic Ceremonial Matcha.) Read more

I absolutely love the convenience of these single-serve matcha sticks. The packaging makes it easy to take them on the go, and the pre-measured amount ensures that I always make the perfect cup of matcha without any guesswork. The taste is rich and vibrant, and it's a great way to start my day or for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. I appreciate the organic quality of the tea as well. Overall, a fantastic product that I highly recommend. Read more

I have sampled my fair share of matcha, so I know a thing or two about good matcha, and this stuff is IT! I've found that Two Leaves and a Bud always grinds their matcha super fine which makes for a silky smooth cup of tea. This matcha in particular is VERY flavorful, and the way I prepare matcha is one stick to a little under 2 cups of water. With other brands of matcha this ratio can render the flavor slightly weak, but not with this stick. I especially love the pre-packaged portions as I will be able to travel with my matcha without worrying about green powdery spills! Read more

I like these for matcha on the go. They don't taste as bitter as some other brands but still have a nice earthy taste. It mixes well even without a proper whisk. Read more

This organic matcha green tea is of high quality and delicious. It comes in single-serving stick packets that are convenient and easy to make on the go. The powder is super fine in texture and vibrant in color. I used one to make matcha latte with plant milk and monk fruit sweetener. It is delicious and flavorful. This comes in a resealable, foil-lined, cute retail bag. There are 10 stick packets in it. The ingredients are organic Japanese matcha green tea. Certified organic by QAI. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with this. It is probably one of the better ceremonial-grade matcha teas that I have ever tried. For around $1.70 per serving, this is pretty good value for the money. I'd recommend it. Good stuff. Read more

I've had matcha tea from Japan before and this does not taste genuine at all. It tastes like wood. While this product is conveniently available via individual sticks to pour on the go, the value of this product doesn't even add into the equation here when the quality is so beyond subpar, I couldn't even begin to recommend it to anybody.
