At 100 watts, this light provides a LOT of light! Although these types of lights might work better for warehouses, and areas where they are mounted higher up, I find them more than adequate for a normal ceiling height garage of shop. Comes with a mounting eye, and can be used with a separate dimmer (not included). There is a selection switch on the housing that allows you to select dimmer, normal, or brightest. I went with brightest, but may reduce it to normal. Easy to install, just attache to a hook or ring, and plug in! Also comes with a safety cable, but I didn't use that. Read more

This was a very easy and quick way to light up my work space in my garage where I like to tinker around.. No installing, just plug in, hang and ready to go! It’s super bright but the light can be adjusted/dimmed. I like that it is somewhat Portable, I can easily move it to whatever area I may need more light. It appears very sturdy, made very well. When I first had the chance to receive this BEILBS UFO LED High Bay Light, I immediately thought of gifting it to a dear friend who recently opened a taco and dessert booth at our local indoor Swapmeet. He’d been hunting for just the right kind of light. The light comes with everything you need: a hook, plug, dimmable cable, wire harness, safety rope—the whole kit. You can even dim it if you want (though we just keep it on blast like it’s the sun). I used this for lighting the work area in my garage where I use my miter saw. Through everything I am about to detail there isn’t one thing you’ll find where I found I disliked about it. I have been meaning find a better way to add more focused light above where I do the majority of my work in my garage. Adding this light made it so simple. My garages’ ceiling has a ceiling height of 15’, and this light did a great job of lighting the space very well. The old LED bulbs in our garage gave off such low light. Wiring for bay lights would have been time consuming. I am no electrician and anything nowadays requires getting a permit to do anything. I like that I had an outlet within reach as it made the task to light the area very simple. The UFO light has an option to wire it for a dimmer switch and I like that I have the option to do so later down the road. I like all the options this light comes with: In case the light does fall, it’s safeguarded with the included safety cable. They included a threaded eye-hook to mount the light. It’s pre-wired for an optional dimmer switch if you choose to do so. It comes already wired with a standard 110V 3-pronged power cord. In the first picture, at the low setting, my work area now has excellent focused lighting. This light needs to have a high ceiling for best effect. In the second picture, this lights up the corner of our garage very well. There is a toggle switch for 3 modes of brightness. I'm used to LED’s being lukewarm. Just know that this does generate a bit of heat due to all the light it puts out. Even at the low setting you must know this light is very bright. My wife was very impressed the first time she went to turn the lights on in our garage. It’s incredible and I recommend this light. Read more
