I love my lamp man! He’s exactly what I thought he would be. The edges are unfinished but that just adds to his industrial person look. I wish I had picked a darker color or the green but that’s my fault and doesn’t change how much I like it. It was super easy to put together. I did a chin hold on the head and body because I did not want to ask for help but it worked fine. It’s well made in my opinion and will be fun to pose and decorate. This light is hilarious and fun!! I’m one that loves change so the ability to move him around as I please is awesome! I did have to watch the video in order to put him together. But it was quick and easy. As you can see in the pics, I also like for him to be holding things. Note that he isn’t able to hold much weight or he folds down. Of course it wasn’t advertised he could hold things, but if you’re like me, you’ll try anyway.. The size of the lamp is great! I’m Not a fan of his lampshade, so I’ll probably be purchasing another soon to replace it. There is nothing wrong with it, it’s just bright white and doesn’t go with my decor too well. The functionality of the lamp is good. It is a lmao. It gives off light. But even better, it can be done in whatever vibe you wish to give off for the day! Does it look high end? I purchased this for a surprise redocorate of our grandson’s bedroom at our house. The lamp arrived packaged very securely and professionally. It even had some white gloves to wear when assembling it, although not at all necessary. The instructional diagram for assembly was easy to understand. It only took 10-15 to assemble. The quality is 5 Star and it is so fun! It comes with an Allen wrench for assembly and you can use it to easily change position of the stick figure. Our grandson’s absolutely love it. We finished decorating the room right before our Super Bowl party and our many guests loved this lamp! A few days after we received the floor lamp, we decided to also purchased the table lamp version of this lamp and it came with a tan shade. The floor lamp has a white shade. The shades are different sizes. I sent an email to the lamp company as their email address was on the assembly instructions. I asked if I could purchase a white shade for the table lamp and explained my predicament. Nine hours later, I received a personal response from Lee He, apologizing and telling me that he hadn’t realized that would be a possible predicament and explained he would get with his manufacturer, have them make me a white shade for my table lamp and would ship it to me. He explained he would not charge me anything as he appreciated my business! He asked for my name and address. Yesterday, I received another email from Lee updating me on my white lamp shade. Lee did not ask me for anything, instead he just expressed his belief that he wants me to be 100% happy with every aspect of my purchase. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This company should be a model of excellence! Ediied to Add: Last week, I received the white lamp shade I'd requested! The company didn't charge me and instead, thanked me for purchasing two lamps! We have been using the lamps for two months now and they work perfectly, are stable and so fun. This is seriously an amazing company. Cool design! Once set up, it can be re-positioned easily. I notice that when my teenage son has friends over, they always leave the lamp in some interesting position (playing basketball, "hands" covering eyes, shaking hands, etc.). Assembly is easy. The package includes a pair of white gloves to wear to put the shade together, which we put on the ends of the "arms" to make them look more realistic. I chose the lamp because it was the best one I could find to fit into a very narrow space between my son's dresser and the wall. This is a perfect fit! I purchased a second lamp to give as a gift to my 30-year-old nephew. I plan on including a glue gun and a gift card to a craft store in case he wants to be creative with the shade. The only negative is that because the lamp is tall and narrow, it is not super-sturdy at the base. We'll probably have to reinforce the area where the feet attach to the base, but it's worth it. I love my new stick man lamp! It is fun, playful and quirky for my home office. It came in neatly placed packaging. Minimal hardware and easy to assemble with two people. It could probably be set up with 1 person, but it would be a bit awkward to balance. I immediately swapped out the bulb with a Phillips Hue bulb. So, the light in the picture may not be similar to the illumination or color of bulb that comes with hit. Read more
