Three stars. Hmm. Is the magnet strong? Yes? Well, maybe? It works well with one case, that was designed to be compatible with this sort of magnet, but it does not retain another case at all, even after adding the included rings. Does the vacuum seal work? Yes? Well, maybe? The Ford F150 has a textured dash, and the mount fell off after sitting in the sun during church. A smooth disk was included with two-sided adhesive to make a spot for the mount, but that means I'll have a permanent sticky spot on my dash. The vacuum connection was supposed to avoid that. We'll see if it holds up to long-term use, or if it goes in the "it would have been nice if it worked" category. =========UPDATE 17-OCT-2025======== After writing the above review, the seller contacted me via email, apologizing for any inconvenience and offering a full refund. Amazon's return policy is already very generous, but this level of service is unusual. I have also had an opportunity to test out the performance of the mount since using the disk to prepare a place for it. We drove through construction, on bumpy roads, etc. The truck sat in the hot sun while I ate lunch, and then we continued our trip. So far, the mount has performed very well, and it holds my phone clear of the shift lever (which was one of the reasons for wanting to move my phone mount). It also seems quite strong. I wince (internally, at least) every time I pull the phone off, because the magnet is strong, but so far the suction connection to the disk has been stronger. I realized that the F150's dash is not just textured, but also contoured, and this makes it difficult to find a spot where the suction cup can press flat to get good purchase. The sticky disk won't be able to be removed (or moved) easily, but that's a minor problem compared to my old mount on the vent vanes. In short, don't try to attach a case that isn't designed to be attached to a magnet. Don't think you can get a clear seal on a textured, contoured dash. If you work with the mount's strengths, you'll be able to set your phone up there and then just forget about it, because it's not going anywhere. If you do have a textured, contoured dash, you can use the self-adhesive disk to create a space for the vacuum seal to happen, and the adhesive has proven adequate so far. (It is October, so next summer will be the real test.) Finally, don't hesitate to buy and try since the company definitely stands behind its product. I'm not asking for a refund because I intend to keep using the mount, and any lack in its application are from my situation, not the design. Read more

I’ve tried a lot of car phone holders over the years, but this Vacuum Magnetic Car Phone Holder is by far the best one I’ve used. The MagSafe connection is super strong — my iPhone snaps right into place instantly and stays put, even on bumpy roads or sharp turns. I never have to worry about it sliding off. Installation was effortless, and the vacuum base holds securely to the dashboard without leaving any sticky residue or wobbling. I also like how compact and minimal it looks — it doesn’t clutter the car, and I can adjust the angle easily for navigation or hands-free calls. If you’re looking for a reliable, stylish, and truly strong MagSafe-compatible car mount, this is the one. Highly recommend! Read more

I live in Pittsburgh where the roads are full of potholes, bumps, humps, etc. No matter what I drive through, this phone holder never moves out of place and the phone stays planted on the mount. The magnet is super strong! It is the best working phone holder I’ve seen in a while. It’s very easy to install and is worth the money! I am able to see the phone as I turn it in many different angles. It’s the best phone holder I’ve seen. Read more

This is a solid phone mount with a very strong magnet—I really like that part. The movable base and arm give you lots of flexibility for positioning, which is especially handy in cars with awkward dashboards or gear shifts. However, when I extend it out far enough to clear my gear shift, the weight of my iPhone 14 Pro Max causes the mount to slowly spin or sag. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it might be better suited for a more vertical or shorter mounting location. Still a great option if you’re not maxing out the reach. Read more

I was a little sceptical at first because it kept popping off, but then I put it in a smooth surface and it's been great ever since. If you have a flat surface, I highly recommend. Read more

The first phone holder EVER that stays on the window and allows flexibility in how I turn it. In my opinion, THIS ONE IS THE BEST ON THE MARKET. I have tried over 5 different phone holders and they all failed. THIS ONE IS A KEEPER!! I HAVE USED IT FOR OVER 3 MONTHS AND IT IS STILL GOING STRONG. Read more

Don’t go with a more expensive brand. This one does as good as more costly items. Adheres to the enclosed mounting pad EXTREMELY well! Can rotate as designed with no problem and magnet is very strong. Read more
