I’ve been a fan of red light therapy masks and had to try this one as well. It’s probably in the medium-high price point as it’s about $299 USD at the time of this review. I thought it was odd that the box was not sealed when I received it, not with a plastic wrap or sticker or anything. Inside, the set comes with everything you need to start using your mask, and it is easy to use, sturdy, and relatively comfortable to wear. I really prefer red light only but this one has a blue light mode as well. Blue light is supposed to help kill bacteria that causes acne. I appreciate that they actually publish what wavelengths of light they offer in the pamphlet but am wondering why they didn’t in the product listing page? I’ve included a photo that shows this information. Also, usually these masks come in either a soft silicone or a hard plastic; I think the hard plastic ones generally seem to have more lights and seem more effective, but I find myself wearing the silicone ones more since they’re more comfortable and softer. So I would recommend getting one you’ll actually want to wear, because consistent usage is really important. Read more

I like this skin care light mask. As someone who’s spent years caring for her skin and has tried more than a few “promising” beauty devices, I approached this red light mask with realistic expectations. I’m happy to say it has earned a place in my routine. The mask is lightweight and comfortable, which matters to me. The soft silicone sits gently on the face, and the adjustable strap makes it easy to wear hands-free while I read, tidy up, or simply relax. The six-minute treatment time is short enough to fit into a busy day, and the automatic shutoff makes it feel safe and fuss-free. I use the red light regularly for overall skin tone and firmness, and I’ve noticed my skin looks brighter and more even after a few weeks of consistent use. Fine lines appear softer, and there’s a healthy glow that wasn’t there before. I also appreciate having the blue light option available. It’s helpful for the occasional breakout and feels like a thoughtful addition rather than an afterthought. What I like most is that the light is gentle and not harsh on mature skin. It feels soothing, not aggressive, and doesn’t require downtime. This mask feels well designed, easy to use, and realistic in what it delivers. Recommended. Read more

I've had several of these devices, and Vanity Planet VANA Red & Blue Light LED Face Mask - Silicone Light Therapy Mask for Anti-Aging, is the most comfortable. When it arrives, you need to put the straps on the back of the mask. It also comes with a charger and a remote. This device came fully charged, so all I had to do was attach the straps and connect the mask to the remote. I find it very comfortable to just slip the remote into my robe pocket, allowing me to walk around and do all of my nighttime chores while wearing the mask. The mask is made of a soft, pliable silicone, not hard plastic, so it’s not uncomfortable to wear at all! I appreciate that the remote is super easy to use and automatically times your sessions. I've been using it on the red setting for fine lines and wrinkles, while the blue setting is for acne treatment. I have very sensitive skin, and this light is gentle on my skin. I believe it could be used by all skin types. Although I have only been using it for a week and haven't seen any benefits yet, I am optimistic that I will. I use it every night before bed, and I love that it comes with a cute velvety storage bag to keep everything together. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I am 64yrs old, and have plenty of fine lines and wrinkles. I have no idea if red light therapy works, but I love it, it feels great, and I use it regularly. This particular red light appliance is high quality. It came fully charged, and I used it right out of the box. It came with an instruction pamphlet, but is mostly simple and easy to use. This is a soft sided unit that comes with Velcro straps. I find that the ear cut outs are sufficient to keep it in place. It has both red and blue light settings. Blue being fit acne and bacteria. It comes with a plug, charging cord, and a felt carry pouch. The mask is comfortable and relaxing, I love it! I highly recommend this high end, spa quality red light therapy mask. Makes a great gift! Was super interested to try this product. It is very simple and easy to use. The strap to keep the product on your face works pretty well. Depending how you have it placed, it could be a little uncomfortable so you have to find your sweet spot when putting it on. The timer is really nice and I like the different options for settings. An easy thing to put in your routine. I think the price is insanely high though and not everyone can splurge on that. I also haven’t noticed enough effects to justify the cost which is why 1 star is knocked off. It’s a quality made product though and seems to be a trusted brand. Read more

I’ve been using the Vanity Planet VANA Red & Blue Light LED Face Mask and overall I’m happy with the results. The red and blue light settings are great for anti-aging and acne, and my skin looks clearer and more refreshed after using it consistently. The mask itself isn’t the most comfortable since it’s silicone, it can feel a little awkward or snug on the face. That said, the sessions are short, so it’s not something you have to wear for long, which makes the comfort issue pretty manageable. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and reusable, making it a convenient at-home skincare tool. If you’re looking for effective light therapy without spending a ton of time per session, this mask is worth trying despite the comfort trade-off. Read more
