I own many heated articles of clothing including socks, pants, long sleeve shirt, hat, underwear, and a vest, so I feel like my opinion on this item is well educated/ experienced. First, the cut/design of this hooded vest is top notch. Someone really knew what they were doing when they designed the pattern for this vest. I love that the hood can be hidden away and zipped up. My other vest doesn't even have a hood! Secondly, everything is controlled with one button. My other vest has multiple buttons which takes away from the simple elegance of once button., Multiple buttons can add to the confusion quotient for some people. Operation is simple....press and hold for a couple seconds to turn the backlit button on. Three colors indicate the heat output. White, Blue and Red temperature settings are cycled through using a quick press of the button. Lastly, the power source is a small power brick. The company really hit this one out of the park too because the power source they chose is half the size of every other powered piece of clothing I have. No one wants to feel a giant block moving around in their pockets. I just put up with it because the benefit you get from the warmth is more than worth it. This power bank slips into the internal pocket and it all but disappear from sight and mind because its weight is insignificant. Battery technology has come a long way. This little battery keeps me toasty for many hours. Plenty enough juice for a day on the town or for a day long hunt. I must admit the price almost talked me out of purchasing it, but I am so glad I went ahead and took the chance on it. My mom is in her 70s, so winters are getting harsher and harsher. This heated down vest has so many pluses I cannot count them all! It is 90% down with about 10% feathers. I ordered a medium, (I weight 125 and am about 5'4) and it fits well - warm and soft, but not bulky. It comes with three heat settings (low -blue, medium-white and high-red). The little button/icon lights up, so that looks kind of cool at night. The battery arrived charged, so I could try it out immediately. The vest easily fits back into the nylon cloth bag it came out of. I am happy about that because I can just put it back into the carry bag and toss it in my truck or suitcase. I was happy to put this vest on and take my dog out the other morning. It kept me nice and warm the whole time. It seemed like the hood heated up, but I think it was just the neck. The battery fits in a small pocket, near the front, but actually the battery is a tad off to your left side, not right in front, which I like. It charges quicky, and charges with my cell phone cable (USB-C) so that is nice too. I don't have to remember to bring multiple chargers/cords. Luxury, warmth and comfort combined. This is a lovely well made heated down vest which seems appropriately sized in the ordering information. The heat predominantly radiates in the neck, back and pockets. I felt the posterior heat continuously while the pocket heat was more apparent when my hands were actually in the pockets. I love the neck warmth. There are bilateral lower drawstring devices designed to snug the base of the vest. The zippers all worked well. The power pack was not exceptionally weighty, however I was aware of its presence. There is not a protective caps over the electrical connection located in a zipped interior pocket. The battery is 5000mAh. There are 3 temperature settings 100 degrees to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. These are adjustments made with a color coded push button consistent with other heated garments. I love this vest. I don’t love the price. That being said, it’s a down vest so absent the electronics will still provide warmth. The hood is comfortable, flattering and not restrictive. I tried the vest on a cold day with a t shirt underneath to potentially reduce any confounding influence a warm garment underneath would have provided. Read more

Excellent quality hooded [removable] vest. I'm super impressed. I ordered a 2x ... I'm a US size 16 with a full bust [38G]. What hangs me up OFTEN with tops - especially garments with zippers or buttons - is my bust size. This vest fits me comfortably with a t-shirt and sweatshirt underneath. I could probably have gotten away with the XL if I was always going to be wearing just a base layer under the vest. Charges pretty quickly and performs just as it should. Honestly, it's super attractive for a functional piece of outerwear... it's designed nicely and isn't super wide at the shoulders [like men's garments can be]. The ability to stay warm while working in a cold basement is either achieved by heat sources such as this or layering yourself up so much you can barely move. This is the much better way to go. Warm, comfortable, soft to the touch, and doesn't get in the way. Recharges easily, and holds a charge for a good long time on the lower setting, which gets you though the day or a game or something of that sort if you were outdoors nicely.
