Since most things look great in the picture and on the pencil thin models, but in real life and on me…usually not so much. When I took the dress out of the package, my first thought was that it was so classy and sophisticated and much more pricey than it was looking. However, I still didn’t hold my breath for it either looking good on me or being comfortable. I immediately brought it upstairs and changed into it. While I most certainly don’t look like the model, I look a heck of a lot thinner than I should look and I absolutely adore this dress. I’ll be wearing the black and red one to a wedding on New Year’s Eve. I’m actually thinking about getting another one in a different color even though I have no other planned events. It truly is that gorgeous. The only thing is that it does run small. I ended up getting an extra large and that turned out to be the correct size. I’m about 5’6”, weigh about 146 pounds at the moment, and usually take a size 10 (or maybe a 12 if it’s cheap or made in China.) Read more
