I just delivered my baby 3 months ago and I was in the hunt for a white dress to wear for her baptism/christening ceremony. Every woman knows how difficult it is to buy a white dress online because it is either to thin or to sheer on top of the difficulty in getting the right size, but after ordering and trying multiple white dresses, I finally struck my luck with this white short-sleeved mermaid style dress! Material: The material is a mix of cotton and polyester but it feels soft on the skin and ultra comfortable to wear. It is slightly stretchable. It is also surprisingly thick and NOT SEE THROUGH, unlike other dresses online, especially white dresses that are too thin. Color: This dress is close to an ivory color. Size: I just gave birth and I was 118 lbs when I wore this and the size 2 dress was perfect! Length: I am 5'1 tall and paired this dress with a 2 inch high heeled shoes and the length is perfect! The dress is slightly past my knees and I think that added to the elegance. Price: I can only wish that this came at a lower price. However, having limited freedom to go to an actual physical store to try dresses on, the price is worth it, especially at the good quality that this dress have. I usually wear a medium in dresses but I've struggled lately with sizes so I went with a Large because I don't love very tight clothes. This was a joke as far as size. It was way too tight. If it would have been a medium it would still have been to tight. Otherwise, the cut was flattering and I liked the design and fabric. Although the white specks are more noticeable in reality than the color appears to be in the listing. That wasn't a drawback for me though. Read more
