I bought for a college alumni performing event in December. I wanted red, but had to settle for navy because red couldn’t arrive in time. I was hesitant because the dress is only sized S, M, L, etc., not by number size, but I LOVE a peplum waist, so figured it could work to my camouflage advantage. This dress fit perfectly! The navy is a pretty navy, not deep. I can’t tell you how many compliments I received on this dress! It is a fine knit, so you get a bit of stretch, and it’s really comfortable for a fitted dress given the stretch. Truly, it looks like you paid more for such a tailored look. Very sophisticated and smart. Simple, but elegant. I wore rhinestone jewelry for the spotlight sparkle, but this dress could work with pearls or just a simple gold hoop. It can go to the office, church, theatre, or cocktail party. Furthermore, it’s machine washable, irons easily, & hangs beautifully. I got this dress in black to wear to a funeral and I was very happy with it. It's a great combination of elegant, sophisticated, classy, and also flattering. I sometimes have trouble with dresses being too tight across the hips, but the fabric on this dress is stretchy and heavy enough that it did not gather up at my curvy hips--it fit very well in my regular size. I am about 5' tall and weight 124. I got the size medium and it fit perfectly. This classy dress would work well at many occasions--at an evening function with some nice jewelry, at the office with it without a jacket, a funeral, etc. A great purchase and well worth the reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the packaging. Due to some wrinkles in the dress (from being in the packaging), I will need to lightly iron it Other than that, the dress is beautiful, and the fabric is of good quality. No matter your body type, I think the polyester/cotton/spandex blend will flatter any woman’s figure. I love that the length of the dress is not short, but is just below my knees, the way I prefer dress/skirt lengths. I normally wear a size medium in dresses, but because the information on Amazon’s website stated these dresses run small, I ordered both a medium AND a large. I will be returning the large because it is loose in the shoulders and the underarm area. The medium dress fits me perfect. Other than the size issue with the large size dress, I have no complaints with this dress, and I plan to order other colors in this same style, of course IN THE MEDIUM SIZE, and I hope I will be just as pleased.
