This dress is nice for office wear and use. It has a light pinstripe design and details which elevates the look and appearance versus basic navy or black. I like that it comes with the belt to cinch the waist which gives it a modern and fashionable twist. It also has a nice v-neck lapel which looks really good. Oh WOW! This a perfect dress for anyone who has to dress up for the office in the summer! Let me tell you what I love: * The cut/fit of this dress is *chef's kiss* perfect! I'm busty and hippy with a smaller waist and this accentuated all the right things. I really feel like it would flatter any body shape, however * The material is stretchy and very comfortable. I have a long commute and this thing is very comfortable to walk, sit, ride the bus, etc in. * I very much appreciate that the belt is non detachable! It's sewn in on either side but is still adjustable, so you can cinch it in a bit if you need, and also just have it be an accent piece for the waist. * The material is thick enough to provide a smoothing effect in all the places it's needed! * I always feel like a sexy 40s bombshell in this dress. Just things to note: *The sizing and color (I got the blue pinstripe) were spot on for me. *The flaps in the front for pockets aren't real, they are just decorative *The zipper on the back is small, which is nice because it hides well, but I had a bit of trouble pulling it up by myself. * I'm 5'6" and this came down to about the top of my knee. It arrived just a tad wrinkled from being folded during shipping, but once it got a quick machine wash and hang dry, it relaxed and laid flat. The material on the one we received felt high quality and had just enough stretch to be comfortable without losing that tailored, bodycon shape. The material is on the thicker side, in a good way. Not too much to feel heavy or cumbersome, but not thin like some of the essentially "disposable" dresses out there that are cheaply made. The contrast piping and decorative buttons give it a really sharp, polished look. While my wife was torn between the pinstripe and the black/white piping, she chose the latter and I think it was the right choice. It’s perfect for work or events where you want to look put together and feel confident. She appreciated the notched lapel collar and the adjustable belt, which helped define her waist. There’s even a small back slit so you can walk comfortably in it without feeling bound up. Overall, this dress was a great find—elegant, professional, and surprisingly easy to move in. I really liked the way this dress looked in the photos, and I really fell in love with it in person. It looks just as it’s shown in the product images in both color and overall appearance. I am 5’4 150lbs currently and a 38DD, and I ordered the large, which fit like a glove with some stretch (enough to be comfortable) to spare! The material is quite comfortable and it’s a thicker feel (not sheer whatsoever) and the buttons seem to be secure. The belt portion looks really nice and the buckles easy to navigate.
