This is a such an attractive dress. The style is what drew me to it, it’s flattering and sliming and the sleeves make a big impact to the sheath style. I ordered white for my sons christening and the material is thick enough where it’s not see through. You can’t see underwear color or lines with a smoothing underwear. Its a medium weight material and is much better quality then alot of other dresses I tried from Amazon. It has some stretch but still holds it’s shape. It actually feels like it holds me in in the stomach. The fit is pretty perfect. I am 5’5” 122 lbs measurements 34-26-38. The length is sexy yet modest hitting right above my knee and has a small back slit for better movement. I tried both the small and x-small. The extra small fit like a glove at the top but was sung at my hips. The small fit my hips perfect but was a little looser up top. Ultimately I went with the x small because I like more of that bodycon hugging style. I’d say this dress runs a little small compared to other dresses on Amazon. I’m 5 foot 5 1/2 and weigh 146 pounds in ordered this dress for a gala I will be attending. I ordered in a medium. The dress is absolutely beautiful actually one of my favorites I’ve ever ordered. The medium allows a little room to breath and does not look tight at all. My only negative is that it smells like cigarette smoke. The smoke smell is the reason I gave it four stars instead of five. I gave this a three stars because material was good quality and it’s cute but for those that says “fits to size” or “flattening” or “makes me slimmer” I wish I had your body 😝. I’m a 59 year old tall woman who is 5’9” and 170 pounds. My typical size is 12 pants and L shirts (sometimes M). Said to order to size but since it appeared form fit and said material was stretchy I ordered up and got an XL. OMG it fit on my body like sausage casing and showed each and every curve. Even my belly button showed, WITH SPANX ON!!! So I did the dreadful thing I’ve never ever done before, but I liked the dress so much I ordered a XXL. Got that in and guess what, was almost the same damn size! It also fit to my body like sausage casing and showed the same belly curves (was not slimming at all) and belly button still showed, it was that sucked to my body. Nothing wrong with a XXL just I am not. 95% of the time I order L so for me to not fit in s XXL, well let’s just say that’s not right! I was very excited to get this dress for a gala I am attending. However when I got it, it was clearly used and damaged! The bottom had a big rip in it, it was dirty and the back where the zipper is, is coming apart and there are several loose strings. So frustrating!
