Stand has a heavy round base, and it's nice that it has two adjustable poles that can make it small enough to keep out of the way. I like the multiple level options on the remote, including a 5th flashing light option for people not use to red light therapy. It has the 660 red and 850 NIR options which is great. The remote has a timer option. I've been using for the full 30 minutes and it turns off automatically. I love how the 4 arms are adjustable for multiple uses! As a fan of red light therapy I was excited when I saw this light. I have a solid panel red light device but it doesn't get all the penetration I desire. With these adjustable red light panels, I'm able to get them close to my skin and I feel it is more effective. I find it best when used in combination with the panel I already own. I believe Viconor also makes a light just like this. I find the remote it comes with easy to use and the cord is long enough. It was easy to put together as well. I do recommend you lean it up against the back of a couch or some other item to keep it stable. Otherwise you'll have to position the lights so it balances out. Overall, I do like recommend this light.
