I recommend this without qualification. I am getting on my colleagues’ nerves because I can’t stop talking about it. Big things: very stable, easy to raise and lower, stays inside its own footprint (I don’t have room for the things that come forward as they raise up - plus, they’re not nearly as stable), spacious top surface allows me to use it as a writing surface even with two monitors and a large statute book, and the keyboard tray is plenty big for my large ergonomic wireless keyboard and phone and mug. I don’t feel like I have to be careful with anything - this thing just accommodates everything! Little things: the edges are beveled - even better than avoiding bumps, the bevel fits a cable clip so all my cables are organized and run over the edge without weird pulls or humps or kinks. Also, the space underneath is big enough for my laptop, and the cross-bar just clears it... although it wouldn’t fit my dock, so check carefully. The ridges in the keyboard tray are appreciated - as much for my cellphone as for my pens. And it’s so easy to pop over to do stuff because I’m not turning my chair and heaving up... I’m already up. Finally, you can hide so much underneath this thing! Strongly advise that the mat you get be FIRM - so much easier to get it out of the way of the chair when sitting. I bought the Victor "Steppie" board and mat combo. I call it my wobble board. It’s great for keeping the pelvis tilted and joints in motion, although I doubt it really helps with core strengthening - not enough wobble to cause you to engage much. But frankly, it’s really fun to rock back and forth. Maybe it counts as steps?? Regarding height: I’m 6’1" - 6’2" and the highest level is perfect for my posture. BUT: the "wobble board" adds significant height when standing even (about 3") and raises me too high, such that my wrists crank up to type. My solution is to keep one foot down and the other up - which is actually best for pelvic and lower back issues. But when I’m not doing heavy typing, I rock a lot and stand high sometimes. Really glad I bought this. Wish I’d done it years ago. Can definitely feel an improvement in my body. Plus, it’s fun! (I see why my colleagues get annoyed! LOL!) Read more

From my boss who is using the product: I recently purchased the Victor DCX760 Height Adjustable Sit Stand Desk. I have used sit-stand desks before, but never one like this. I love the larger footprint. It might not have been good for the small cubicle desk I used to have, but now that I have a proper desk, it's great to have some of my important things always right there. I have my monitor (note that there’s plenty of room for two monitors, which I may have in the near future), my computer, a small cabinet, external keyboard, mouse, my desk phone, and a photo of my life partner right next to me, whether I'm standing or sitting, and there's room for more. The desk is solid and stable. I move it up and down easily, even with my heavy monitor on top, and everything on it is secure, even while the desk is in motion. And I love that it raises vertically, unlike other brands I have used in the past. Assembly was a non-issue. I just had to attach the keyboard part (which is a great size, btw – ample room for my keyboard and mouse). It was so easy and took just a few minutes. Moving the desk up and down is very simple and smooth. The grey color is classy and professional and looks very nice in my office. I highly recommend the Victor DCX760 - it's a great product. This is a solid desk and feels well built. I read a couple of reviews which complained about setup difficulty, but I can say that there was minimal installation required and it was simple. Specifically, the Keyboard tray needed to be attached to the desk. + The installation kit was modular (all parts self-contained and labeled to match the installation steps with clear illustrations) and all parts were keyed the same to match the included screwdriver. (1,2,3, 4 and done.) It could not have been clearer and easier. + The desktop is ample and the feel is substantial and the finish is sleek. + With a pneumatic assist, the desk height adjustment is smooth and easy and works by squeezing the 2 mounted side handles which aid in elevating the desk to the desired height. Releasing the handles engages 1of 9 total lockout positions at the desired height from desktop to full elevation. + The desktop raises in-place straight up and lowers straight down so the desktop footprint is always the same. + I added dual monitor arms (from Loctek) and installed them using the desktop cutout for grommet installation and these freed up desktop space. Note: I did a lot of online research before I found this desk so Google around for online write-ups and youtube videos/comparisons. I believe I found a great mix of value, function and quality in this product and as I stated in the opening I am extremely happy with my Victor DCX760 adjustable desk. Read more

I really enjoy the fact that I can sit or stand easily and move between the two settings with ease and without moving all the things on my desk around. I also like that it does not require pulling up and back to move to standing, the spring ensure you do not have to put your back into a weird spot when changing positions. The large desk area is nice for keeping things on the desk that I am working on and not having to move things all around. However, it is much larger overhang in the front, so measure more accurately than I did, and make sure it fits your space well. I wish it was a little smaller, but I am so happy with the ease of use that I am keeping it and just moved my desk out from the wall a bit to accommodate the large depth of the desk. Be healthier and do it with ease, with this desk. Read more
