I am a Tall, 38" waist guy. Hard to find good shorts that feel good at waist, are right length, and are cool. These cover all bases. I ended up buying a second pair. The waist band is extra wide so does not cut (plus has rope built in waist to cinch a bit if needed). I have not needed to use rope as the large wide waist band keeps the shorts up on a bigger belly! The legs don't grip tight lots of room to stay cool. The fabric does not wrinkle much at all. I was pleasantly surprised with these and they look good on a 60's fellow! Shorts stay put without having to use the drawstring, yet remain comfortable and non-binding all day.
