I am in love with this skirt ~ It is absolutely darling and fits perfectly! It falls right at my knees ~ exactly where I like it! The print is adorable and the cut and stitching of the garment make it look classy and preppy ~ So much so that I think I will be wearing it lots away from the pool as well ~ It would look adorable paired with a nice blouse! The fabric is 80% Polyamide and 20% Elastane. It feels like swimsuit material, but does not look like swimwear at all. The stitching is very well done and looks high quality. It's practical, too ~ It has pockets ~ I love when dress makers put pockets in their garments! It has sewn-in shorts for modesty while swimming. The fabric is very silky and super comfortable. I have to admit I have not pool-tested it yet. Due to the double layer of skirt and shorts ~ I am wondering how quickly it will dry once wet. The care instructions says that it is machine washable but it is *not* machine dryable, so do take note if that is an issue for you. I just bought a second one with another cute pattern. I am pleasantly surprised with this skirt. I have been looking for something that looks good for wearing to work and that is comfortable. I think this fits true to size and the 20" length is just perfect. A variety of tops looks great with this - anything from a peplum top to a t-shirt. The skirt can easily be dressed up or down. I’m going to but these in other colors and wear them in place of shorts. Because they have the shorts underneath, you can wear white and not worry about see through. My husband had no clue it was a bathing suit and said I looked nice (with a cute top and with a tee shirt). So comfortable and cool. Good thing since I’m in Florida. The fact these are bathing suits it a bonus but I won’t wear the white one as that so it doesn’t discolor. Pockets are great but not secure for putting things in if getting in the water. I am 5’4, 195 pounds, pear shaped with big tummy. I have to cover my tummy with shirt. The skirt part is loose though and hits my knees which is perfect. I could have gone a size smaller probably but then the skirt would probably be shorter- maybe better for swimming since they aren’t snug. Read more

I was looking for a swim skirt so ordered this. It is too long for a swim skort but I loved it so much I ordered several patterns and colors to wear on vacation and running errands. Usually with skorts I have to wear anti chafing shorts under because they ride up (I have big thighs). I wore these and the shorts fit great underneath. Love the short pockets and the skirt pockets. This pattern looks almost identical to a $$$$ name brand (TB) skort I bought but they were too short. I think I am going to buy yet another pair. Read more
