I have read that many people are vitamin D deficient and that was my case. Don't know why because I am outside all the time. My doctor told me that I should be taking 5000u of D3 on a daily basis and I have been doing that for 5 years now. This supplement is a quality pill and when I get my blood tested again, I expect that my vitamin D levels to be constant. This supplement is different from what I'm use to because the color is white instead of the yellowish brown. I like the white color because the pills are small and it makes it easier to see if dropped. There is no aftertaste and the supplement is easy to swallow with or without liquids. I recommend this supplement. Read more

I need to limit my UV exposure, so I take D3 all year. As well as, at times, more units than many people. I am sensitive to some tastes, and often like to take pills in soft gel format. These have no bad odors or tastes. The soft gels are a nice quality, with only the slightest, mildest of flavor - I held one in my mouth a long time to find out - it is as other pills like this. Understanding that I can’t really evaluate the actual ingredient, I was already on daily D3, and I don’t notice anything different, I looked at all my bottles of D3,interestingly enough, none of them, including store brands, say where they were manufactured. Either made for, or distributed by, or no mention at all. These state Made in China on the label. Read more
