This clock didn't have many ratings when I bought it, so I was unsure what I would receive. I set it up yesterday and it was quite intuitive and functional. It doesn't necessarily feel premium, but it doesn't feel cheap either. The light is bright and warm, the snooze button is intuitive, and the alarm functions are easy to set up! There are ten sounds to choose from for the alarm portion, and I picked the bird song. I think the portion that feels the most lackluster to me is the sound. It's fine, but it feels a bit outdated and like it's soft and stuck in a tin can. Not a deal breaker for me, but something to note if you are an intense audiophile or are looking for a high quality sound machine. The thing I like most is the clock face is dimmable to different degrees of brightness, it's cute as hell, it has a sunrise feature, it was not $160, and I don't have to have another fairly pointless app to download and take up real estate on my phone. It helps me take steps in the direction to having a screen free bedroom! Read more
So the first night I used this for the alarm it came on 15 minutes before my alarm. The light immediately woke me because it was so bright. I need to figure out how to not have it come on before my alarm. I do actually like the light as just a lamp. It's nice and low good for watching a movie or having an intimate night. 😉 I like being able to see the time when I wake in the night. It has 3 settings for brightness. Since I like my room pitch black, I keep the clock off but it has an easy knob that I just hit. I also like the sounds of the alarm clock. Read more
Much better option than using your phone as an alarm clock. The wake up light feature is very nice. Read more
I absolutely love this! It took about a week for me to wake up with just the light and no sound! I wake up and don’t want to hit snooze. I love it! Read more
Excellent choice, so nice to wake up with this alarm clock! Read more
This sunrise alarm clock is a great knockoff of the brand name one. I personally love it for myself with the soothing wakeup light from a gentle red to bright white light (just like a real sunrise!) And the sounds are all of the typical sounds you would hear on any sound machine(woods, crickets, water flowing, rain, white noise. Etc). It's got beautiful colors for night light options and fits perfectly on my bedside table. It comes with everything you need right out of the box, even the power adapter/wall charger, which seems incredibly rare to get included nowadays! For the price of this one and everything you get, it is well worth it and works fantastically - for me. My husband on the other hand is a very heavy sleeper and he is the type of person who needs to have 10 blaringly loud alarms going off like its a parade going on or he wont wakeup. So for him it didnt work, not even a little bit. He didnt care for the lights either because it made no difference for him, but he said they are nice anyway (haha). So for people like him that are heavy sleepers - this is not the alarm for you. But for every body else, I very highly recommend! Read more
The media could not be loaded. It’s not terrible but it’s also not great. The light is bright enough to wake you up, it has 2 alarms, multiple sounds, and it has a light display option. The stickers on the top say that alarm 2 features the natural light wake up, however it’s actually alarm 1. If alarm 2 does have a light option I haven’t figured it out yet… It has multiple sounds, including crackling, fire waves, birds.. but they sound kind of cheap? Like a cheap sound machine… alarm one also has the option to have a sound playing plus the natural light wake up. You can also turn the light on by itself. It has a plain yellow light and then it has multiple other light colors to choose from. There’s also an option to just have it cycle through all the different colors. I find the alarms confusing to set.. It takes me a lot of clicking back-and-forth to figure out how to set them. I got this because it seems to be a good alternative to paying the high prices of hatch, however, I am debating if I should’ve just paid more for better quality. Read more

We have several different light alarms in our household and I like this one's features the best because it has the basics and not too much else. The 6 buttons and dial are intuitively designed. The two touch controls on the front are spaced well apart which prevents accidentally activating the one you don't want to use. This setup means that it's easy to adjust things in the dark once you're familiar with it. The paper instructions aren't the best with various language errors, but the settings aren't hard to figure out. Also, you can dim or turn the clock light off by pushing the dial down as if to snooze the alarm. The way it's set up, alarm 1 uses the wake-up light and sound, or it can be silent. Alarm 2 uses just sound, so it could be used as a backup. This also makes it a good choice if you want to try out a light alarm. Light-alone almost always works for me, but not if I've been short on sleep for several days. The light increase is done over 15 minutes. Though I was using a 30 minute increase with a previous alarm, my body is just as happy with 15. The light is pretty and warm. I like that it stays on after the alarm reaches full brightness for getting ready in the morning. The clock has an internal battery that lasts at least a few hours. Like most battery backups, it only preserves the settings. The sounds are just okay. A few of them are nice, though mainly at low volume levels. However, they can be set pretty loud if you need it. There's a timed sound option that isn't connected to light and the white noise/fan sound isn't too high-pitched. The rainbow's worth of colored lights are fun, but I don't really use them because I like the warm white light. The alarm starts as red and shifts to a bright warm white. The different colors are a lamp function only. Read more
