The media could not be loaded. The alarm clock is great. Very attractive look. Totally worth what I paid. There’s a learning curve to setting the alarms but once you get it it becomes easy to remember. And it comes with like a cheat sheet page to help. I bought the alarm clock for my middle schooler and it’s worked out great so far. We have the light/alarm combo set and they wake up to the light as like a first alarm (tap it off vs waiting for it to illuminate the room) then 10min later, I believe, the alarm sound goes off and that’s when they get up. It’s very easy to read the time any time of day but I like you can dim it. We use it in a room with blackout curtains so the light is very illuminating! The video doesn’t do it justice really. I had a slightly different idea of what this alarm clock would be like, but it exceeded my expectations! It's an alarm clock, a regular clock, a night light, and just a lamp. The quality of the product is excellent, it has a beautiful design, a brilliant idea, and most importantly, it's a very useful item for every bedroom! At first we didn't think this clock was the one for us, but it turned out to be exactly what we wanted (almost). First of all, it's absolutely beautiful. I've wanted a sunrise alarm clock for years, but never bought one because most of them are tacky plastic things and I didn't want that on my nightstand. This looks beautiful there. Next... the ultimate reason I purchased this was the sunrise feature. And it really works. This clock allows us to put black out curtains in our bedroom for a good night's sleep, but still wakeup easily and feel refreshed. Finally, there are a ton of features on this clock. Adjustable lamp that operates by touch, adjustable clock brightness, sleep sounds, get ready for bed features, 2 alarms (one with light and one without)... it does everything except turn on the shower for you. This is also where the downside lies. For a simple clock to have this many features, it is not even slightly intuitive. Read the instructions, then read the pdf you receive from the company. Then save that somewhere because when the power goes out long enough for the backup to die, you're going to need these instructions again because it's just too much to remember. And read EVERYTHING. If you're not a snooze person (like me) so you gloss past the instructions for the snooze button, you miss how to dim the clock. And one last thing... not a deal breaker, but part of why I gave 4 stars instead of 5... when you turn the alarm off, the light turns off too. Fortunately, if you're ready for it, 3 quick taps turns it right back on. But I'm getting up here. Why turn the light off at that moment? The color is nice and warm. It matches the decor in my room so nicely. I use the nature's alarm to wake me up in the morning and it's so peaceful!. The alarm is not too loud. The Vivilumens Sunrise Alarm Clock has completely changed my mornings. The gradual light feature is amazing—it gently simulates a sunrise and helps me wake up naturally instead of being jolted awake. Fabulous idea! Especially for those who have to wake up while it’s dark, as it really helps make it easier to wake up in a more “natural” and kinder way than a standard alarm clock. PROS: Alarm face is completely dimmable to where it can be set to no light shining from the unit. Touch feature for circle light is easy and makes for great lamp. The sound is better than other units and offers enough options for nicer alarm sounds including birds chirping. Looks modern and interesting. Does not require an app or reoccurring fees to use. CONS: Only has ONE SETTING for the gradual light plus sound for an alarm. The second setting is just for sound without light. Because of this, if multiple alarms are needed with the sunrise light setting, you have to constantly change the needed alarm time under the one setting that actually allows for the sunrise. Also, this alarm DOES NOT allow you to set different alarms for different days. This is an extreme inconvenience for those who wake up at different times on different days as it forces you to reset the alarm for each new needed wake-up time. The other con is that this alarm clock only offers a 30, 60, and 90 minute sunrise settings and other clocks have greater options like 5, 10, 15, etc minute intervals. So you are stuck with 30 minutes at the minimum and 90 at the max for sunrise. Also, not major, but there’s not a Bluetooth option like without units, so you’re stuck with the built-in sounds (although the sounds are plenty fine). Read more
