UPDATE and Public Service Announcement: Always unplug battery when not in use and store the jacket whole, not balled up. I don't know why I didn't think to unplug the battery. My jacket got turned on high while resting in the back of my car and the jacket burned and melted through the fabric. My fault. I'm lucky I didn't set the car on fire. I'll try. to add a photo of my disastrous mistake. So sad that I ruined my vest. Now the price has greatly increased and my size is out of stock. Be smarter than I was and this vest will serve you well! I've had this vest since February. It has dramatically changed my life for the better! I spotted this vest on a woman at the gym, who sang its praises and said she found herself using it much more than expected. This vest is a wonder! I run cold and since getting this jacket I am comfortable outdoors! The vest gets nicely warm even on low, so I can turn it on for a short time and turn it off for a little while. Also can turn on/off just the front or back, and I use that feature a ton. Especially when outdoors, I like to wear an outer layer to retain the heat and save battery life -- in moderate weather I wear a thin shell, while in super cold or windy weather I wear it under more of a winter-type coat. I often wear it indoors. Saves on heating as I don't need to turn the heat up. It even helps me to get out of bed on cool mornings and get dressed, because it allows me to be warm while I'm getting ready and don't need to cower in bed under the covers. I wear it just about every day, even during summer, since we don't have 24/7 high heat where I live. I got an extra battery pack so I always have a spare. Sizing -- I normally wear XS or even XXS, but the Small is just right for my needs as it gets nicely hot even on the low setting, so I wouldn't want it stretched tight against my body while zipped. Also, I prefer the extra coverage in an item that is meant to keep me warm, so if XS were available I would still choose size Small. This vest inspired me to get heated slippers as well. I like them a lot, but the vest is a lot more versatile and if I had to pick one I would get the vest as it has greatly enhanced my comfort and freedom to move both indoors and outside! For the chronically cold, I can highly recommend both the vest and slippers. :-) The slippers are not by WASOTO, but if they were to make them I'd be first in line to try them. Read more
Very comfy vest. Love that the zipper pulls both ways!! Sitting down, vest would pull tight and be binding, I just pulled the second zipper up to my waist and comfy and no tightness. Number of heat elements were perfect for my body. Any more and I would be uncomfortably hot. Just got back from Iceland. Was warm just wearing the vest with 2 shirt layers and no jacket. But if it was windy - then I needed a jacket. Battery passed airlines security with no problems. I ordered a large. I'm 5'1", 148 lbs and busty. Super comfy. Feb 2026 Read more
I love this vest! Size small is snug but nice to wear over a sweatshirt. I have big boobs so it’s a little tight when I zip it up all the way. Probably could have used a medium but I do like how the small is snug to keep the warmth in. The battery takes forever to charge not sure if that’s how they are supposed to charge or is mine just defective but I just leave it plugged in all night. I hate being cold and this vest keeps me warm all day. I love that it warms in the neck that’s the best part! Read more
I love this vest but the battery is too bulky. I have another heated vest from Costco and the battery is half as thick. When I zip the vest up, the battery hits right on my hip bone and is annoying. With that being said, I LOVE THIS VEST. I am always cold. This vest warms my core and at times is almost too warm on the lowest setting. The neck heater can make you sweaty but I just turn it on for 15 and then off for 15 minutes. The battery has a long life. I’ve worn it on low for a few hours and the battery is never below 50%. The thickness of the battery is livable because I am so toasty! Get one! Read more
This is my 2nd WASOTO vest. I had my first for around 2 years, before my dog chewed the hookup cord on my jacket pocket. I can still use the old power-bank in the new vest, so I always have a full battery ready. Seller should offer the battery by itself as an option because it's awesome having 2 now. The battery lasts all day or a couple/few days used intermittently. You wont need full heat setting for long, and the vest holds heat really well. The battery holds a charge very well, even after a couple years. I layer with my light rain jacket underneath during especially cold weather. In my art studio, I have full freedom of arm/hand movement without worrying about sleeves dipping into paint, bunching up, or being too bulky. I always get questions about the vest when it's on (blue light shines- it can also be turned off) and people are impressed with the heat output. I definitely recommend it. I was ~145lbs, 5'3" with a 36DD top-end and the medium fit just snug zipped up, light jacket fits underneath or regular jacket overtop. I've lost a lot of weight this year, ~125lbs, same top-end, it fits with more room now, not snug anymore. It looks smart and works well. I've washed my vets multiple times (zip up the connector pocket) and have not had issues. Connect battery pack, zip up the pocket, push the chest heat-setting button, and the heat starts immediately. I absolutely love this vest! The fit is just right (as I expected), and doesn't feel bulky or restrictive. Front pockets are nice & deep, and have zippers! The placement of the heating elements is great and with three levels, it's super easy to stay toasty warm while I'm working outside this winter. Read more
I own a heated jacket, but I do not like using it as it’s super bulky. I figured I would purchase a heated vest to see if that works better. I am absolutely happy with my purchase. It’s extremely comfortable. The battery lasts a good amount of time. Able to adjust if I want heat all over, just on my back or just on the front side..I love this vest so much that I ordered one for my daughter as she does not like wearing a coat outside. She even loves it. I bought a small for me and a medium for her as she likes things not so close to her armpit areas. Read more
