I am a big water drinker and never really worried about tap water. I finally just decided with as much water as I drink, a filter couldn't hurt. I really like the Waterdrop Ultra filter. It's easy to use and I immediately noticed a difference in taste. Some other water filters work, but takes forever to filter out the water, you just get a small stream coming out of the filter. This one comes out fast! It doesn't take 5 minutes just to fill up my coffee tank. These filters last quite a while. I live alone and once of these filters last me 9-12 months. The manual states for a family of 4 a filter should last 3 months. Can't beat the cost either, for about $70 I got the filter device and enough filters to last me 3-4 years! Read more

To begin, I live in an apartment with a standard faucet. The installation was straight forward. Be sure to FOLLOW the directions carefully. The unit seems flimsy but time will tell. The system is not designed to swivel from what I noticed. If you do try to swivel the unit, the plastic threaded piece will likely loosen and wear down against the metal thread on the faucet then leak and/or pop off. If it were cost effective, I would recommend that the manufacturer replace these fittings with a metal one, unfortunately this will likely raise the cost. So far the water tastes better than the PUR I had. Will report after the first filter change and update my rating. I also can't register for filter change reminders on the website provided. More to come..., UPDATE 09/05/2019 As expected; the plastic tap adapter failed. Fortunately the customer service is great and a metal tap adapter is on the way. Overall, still a great product. I couldn't afford bottled water anymore. So, I did a ton of research and chosdr on this filter. Going from spring water to this... There was still way too much chlorine taste. So, I used this with an epic water pitcher. After a couple months, the extra step for the pitcher became a hassle and my taste buds had adapted and this water tastes better than spring water to me now! It feels safer too since we're in a very old house. Despite what they say, these filters only last a about 15-20 days before they start getting moldy. So, I just change them every 2 weeks and they never reach that point. It's a little annoying having to wait, letting the water run through the filter for 15 seconds every time before using. But that's ok. The biggest downside is that hot water will ruin the filter.. And you have to manually switch it back from filter to faucet. If you aren't paying attention, you can easily wash dishes and ruin the filter running hot water through it accidentally. You just put a new filter in if that happens but it's still a waste of money. We really like these filters knowing that we're going to receive pure drinking water from the tap. The three pack lasts 9 months, they're easy to install, they don't leak and the price is reasonable as well. We drink a lot of water and we appreciate having the option to drink very good clean water, instead of what our town offers us! Read more

Likes, easy installation, very durable unit, easy to change filter cartridge, long filter life, GREAT tasting water, good water pressure, easy to switch from tap to pure water. Saves on buying bottled water. Dislikes- Have to turn faucet down to fill a water bottle. Filtered water is more like a spray instead of a stream. AN inconvenience but no biggie. Read more

They have been working great for as long as I’ve had them, no leaks. The only thing is that I don’t even know if they really do anything as far as filtration, but my wife seems to think the water tastes better. Read more
