This filter really impressed us with the water quality. The filter is probably three times larger than the old filter, which means it will last much longer. This filter also regenerates when 1000 gallons is run through the filter, the old one regenerated every night. This filter regenerates at a whisper, the other filter sounded like a freight train. After a lot of research I went with weco filters to solve issues with my water that includes high arsenic, red/brown iron stains in toilet/tub/sink, yellow color and bad smell (rotten egg odor). Did a lot of research before buying this filter. My research paid off. Had 1.3 mg/L iron problems. Red stains all over. This got rid of all iron. I'm hopefully set for 7 years, as advertised. Technicians were very nice and helpful when I called to clarify some setup questions on the touchscreen valve. They recommended this be set up to be backwashed automatically every 4 days at night. I feel the water is softer and cleaner. So far investment was worth it. Read more
