I bought the 12lb vest and I honestly think it’s the best weight for someone that is just starting with these weighted vests. This vest was purchased at the recommendation of my physician to help strengthen my bones and assist in posture. I was a bit skeptical but I am glad I followed through. The only thing I would change is I wish I had started with the 10lb instead of the 8lb vest. I am 5ft tall and weigh 110 so the 8 lb does help but in hind sight I would prefer the 10. Remember to wear the stretchy part over your shoulder. It does make it more comfortable to wear. Start on a lower weight. The quality is top tier and it certainly helps you break out a sweat. It's easy to put on and the straps in front do adjust. Read more
