It is a Honest description from Amazon or the seller! It was an easy setup, great instructions and EASY to mount and get flowing. The hoses that came with it were plenty long (36 inches?) i the input hose has a female 3/8" fitting, the discharge or connection to the faucet has a Male 3/8". First off, this is a three minute installation if you've been a carpenter for 60 years, LIKE MY FATHER HAS BEEN! Me? It took more like an hour and a half. I had to gather all the materials, watch the instruction video, get the tools, make sure I didn't have any questions before I started, etc. Once I finally got started it moved along. I did strip one screw but they include an extra one. They include Teflon tape but I didn't need it, the connections aren't leaking, I've checked for three days now. Adapters are included so this works on 1/2 or 3/8 connections. The taste is good, I like it. The filter is easy to replace if you place the item in a handy area. If I install another one it will only take a few minutes, but lord knows I don't want to do this again but least I know my dogs and I are drinking clean water now. Read more
This product worked perfectly for us, we were experiencing high smell of chlorine an a nasty taste to our water. Bought this filter, installed with such ease in about 5 minutes an Boom the water from the kitchen faucets was perfect Taste with no orders. Plus filter manufacturer claims filter cartridge is good for upto a year. Only down side to me is I can not find filter replacement anywhere so I don't have to replace the entire, expensive filter and cartridge. Read more
