These r soft metal so beware they can ding easily if u have clumsy people around. But for that reason the stay very sharp! Cuts a tomato like a hot knife in butter. Fillets like no other. Worth every dime! Do not dish wash though!! Read more
These knives are awesome. Recommended all around. The 26 piece set is overkill for most everyone's needs including mine, I just had money to splurge. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is the wooden knife block doesn't come close to the high quality standards of the knives. Even the Wusthof logo on the knife block was visually crocked, which was very disappointing seeing as how the knife block is the first thing seen during unboxing. Pic next to my 15 year old Walmart knife set containing awful knives that still has a nicer wooden knife block. If ur looking to upgrade ur knives u really don't need this set. Buy a smaller nice custom knife block and populate it one awesome Wusthof knife at a time. Read more
knifes are a year old and they look like 15 years old. They dont cut very well and smoosh more than slice. I dont recommend them at all. Read more
Blow the sawdust out of the block before installing knives. Otherwise excellent product. Read more
