| QUICK SUMMARY | ☁️ Noticeably softer & more cushioned. Adds plush comfort to a firmer mattress without feeling TOO soft or sink-in 🦝 Easy setup & no noticable odor. Even with only approx 24 hours of expansion (and feral kids 😅), it fluffed up well and had zero noticeable smell (imo). 🛏️ Fits with a waterproof (wally world) cover! Works just fine under an existing waterproof mattress protector and includes a removable, machine-washable cover. | FULL REVIEW | • I have slept on this mattress topper for several nights before reviewing it, and so far, I’m pretty impressed! 🛌 • The instructions recommend letting it fully expand for 48–72 hours. We realistically only managed about 24 hours because we don’t have a great place to leave it out… and my children are feral and would not stop climbing on it even after multiple requests 😅 Despite that, our topper fluffed up and smoothed out rather quickly in my opinion! I also did not notice any odors or smells after releasing the mattress from the vaccum packed plastic. • My husband put the topper on the bed while I wasn’t home. We already use a waterproof mattress cover, and he placed the memory foam topper directly on the mattress and then put the waterproof cover over everything. I asked if there were any issues with fit, and he said it all fit just fine. So if you also use a waterproof cover, it should work without any problems. • As for comfort, I’m honestly really liking it. For being about 3 inches total, it’s surprisingly soft and you definitely sink into it more than just the mattress alone. I notice it the most when I sit on the bed. It feels much more cushy than before. I wouldn’t say it’s so soft that I disappear into it, but it’s a nice balance. It's still a little firm, but noticeably more plush and comfortable than just our mattress! • This is my first mattress topper ever, and I’m glad we went this route. We have a more firm hybrid mattress (also Amazon!), and I wanted something to add extra cushion without replacing the whole mattress. This definitely does that. If you’re looking to soften up a firmer mattress and add a bit more comfort, I’d absolutely recommend this. • We haven’t had it long enough for me to wash it yet, but I really like that the pad/cover portion is removable and machine washable. I have a very firm mattress and due to being a side sleeper, I have recently been suffering from pressure points on my hips and shoulders as well as pain in my lower back. A couple of months ago I removed my previous high end mattress topper which was sagging, and replaced it with this one to give it a try. I honestly did not have high expectations considering the low price, and thought this would just be a quick fix until I could do the research to find a new high end topper. I have now slept on this mattress topper for nearly two months. I am honestly happy with the combination of support and softness that it has provided. I have not found any sagging or indentations from use, and find that it is holding up very nicely without rotation as of yet. I will say that it is a lighter weight than my previous topper, but this has not made a difference in comfort or durability in my experience so far. The only thing that I found to be off from the description is the cooling claim. I haven't noticed any cooling, but I did not deduct a star because I have not found this topper to cause me hot flashes or overheating. It is very comfortable to me. If you are specifically looking for a cooling foam, this may not be the best option for you. Having said that, I feel that this mattress topper performs well for comfort and really elevates my current mattress. The appearance is quality, and it fits a deep mattress without any trouble. There are also straps to secure it into place. I am extremely happy with this mattress topper and will continue to use it until it wears down. My pain has decreased significantly with this addition to my mattress. I ordered and received this two-piece Queen Size memory foam mattress topper to replace my old worn out topper. First off it arrived in such a small box I thought for sure that they had sent the wrong size. But it was indeed the correct size, they just package it so smartly. Secondly, make sure you open the correct end of the box first. I had apparently opened mine upside down. Because after pulling out the mattress topper and opening the plastic with my own scissors, I found a helpful boxcutter/envelope opener device at the "bottom" haha. I like the idea of the two-piece design. It makes it that much more customizable for each individual sleeper and/or sleep situation, such as which season we're in. The top "cotton" piece, feels like a high threadcount quality material. As cool and breathable as it is soft and comfortable. The bottom cooling memory gel piece comes in it's own washable case. This piece doesn't feel like it's cooling at all, and it doesn't behave the way my brandname piece I just replaced behaves. It feels like a much lesser quality in my opinion. It does seem fairly durable, but I do envision replacing this part sooner rather than later. I'm only deducting half a star for that in my review because- The two pieces together are extremely comfortable to sleep on. Seriously, five stars for comfort alone. I have a very firm mattress and this set adds just the ride amount of cushion. The current selling price also makes this an excellent value for the money, especially when considering how many years of use I believe I'll get from this set. Even if and when I replace the bottom piece- the case is washable/reusable and will help fasten and keep the replacment in place. Read more
