My mom no longer needs to ask what day or date it is. It took a week for her to remember to look at the calendar but now she likes it. Large print is great! Only drawback is that when we have a power outage, you must know to press the power button on the back to turn it on. It has a battery to retain information but now enough power to keep clock running. Read more

I bought the 8 inch model for my wife, very nice - you can easily read it from across a large room. We are both 70+ years old, so, larger display is great. PLENTY of brightness levels. So I ordered the 7" model for our den / TV room & can see it from the kitchen, too! A few less brightness levels on the 7 inch model - but no big deal. It goes from 1 to 5, I set it on 2 - still plenty bright, but not distracting from TV. Back up battery means no more re-entering time / date when power goes out. The only minor drawback is it has a "wall wart" type power supply - I prefer the power inside the item, and just a regular small plug to go into receptacle, seems all (most?) the large display digital clocks are that way. NBFD. I have not tried the SD / picture, etc. function - just needed a clock. Hilariously it also tells you "Before Dawn", "early morning", etc. (you can turn that off if you want) So, overall, an excellent large display clock. Read more

I originally got this for my mom elderly mom and like it so much I now have one in my work locker room and bedroom at home. It’s really nice that it dims a little and senses when the lights are off, so it’s not crazy bright when you wake up in the middle of the night.
