The unit cools well and works great when it is fully going, but makes a loud hum and bearing rattle noise during startup. Sometimes it will startup nice and quiet and smooth and other times it will not. Not sure what think of this, as returning it would very hard for me. I had to have it setup from someone else having hernias. By the way, my brother has the same unit and his does not sound like this during fan startup. I will see what happens in the future. On the fence on this one. Update: I contacted the seller about this situation and asked if this was normal and would go away and they told to try different things to see if it would correct it. It did not and they refunded my money. Was very surprised at this. What a nice thing for the seller to do. I did watch YouTube videos to see if I could repair the fan motor itself. My brother is a AC technician and I always worked with him, I am obsessed with things that make refrigerant and cold air. I was able to get apart, and what a pain in the butt it was to get it apart, but was able to. I was able to use 30 weight synthetic oil into the bearing using a spout to get them. It quieted it right down and runs smooth now. I hope it lasts. Thank you seller for excellent customer satisfaction! I really had to work to get it to this point. I am glad it is over and now able to use it. I am still nervous to run it more than 3 hours, but cools a tiny bedroom and gets it frigid cold before that time is up. Read more

The media could not be loaded. It’s a great little air conditioner! It does not go below 61° however so if you want it colder in your room than 61° that won’t be possible! It has multiple settings that are functional and cools off a single room fairly quickly. The tube Used to vent the hot air out of the room is pretty ugly but the AC unit itself is sleek and nice looking. We just hide the big tube behind some curtains. Other than that, the air conditioner is very nice! Read more

I waited until I had this for a month. Couldn't be happier with it. I took it out of the box and set it up in 3 minutes. There is a hose to pull out the hot air. You twist one end into the exhaust, snap that into the window slat attachment. Open the window, place the slat in and close the windo to hold it in place. Twist the other end of the hose into the attachment for the machine, snap that into the air conditioner. Turn on and in about 3 minutes, there is frosty air pouring out. No tools needed. It took me longer to write this than it did to get the machine out of the box and working. I only wanted it to cool one corner of a large room that had no central vents and was surrounded by windows. But it cools the whole room. Very pleased. Read more

Worked great for the first year and stored it in my closet until a few weeks ago and when I tried to boot it up again it was not producing water and not producing cold air. I tried every troubleshooting solution I could find online how how to possibly fix it. But It just works as a fan now. I also tried to contact support twice now and have heard nothing back. Wouldn't recommended for long-term use. Read more

I received this AC 5-13-2024. I did find that I had an issue with the plate that holds the exhaust vent not being tall enough height wise for the hose head to attach to it and have the thing be straight and aligned with the frame of the window that slides up and down. As a temporary fix, and until I can figure something else out to hold that plate up, I folded a towel to the appropriate thickness needed and had to pull it through beneath the plate to hold it up and close the gap to the outside. As for the AC itself, I got it up and running in about 45 minutes, that includes the time to problem solve the issue listed above. The AC took about an hour to make my bedroom tolerable (it was about 84-86 degrees), and maybe 2 hours to cool it off significantly. Installation and initial start up was about 4:30-5:00pm, during the hottest part of the day, so I wasn’t surprised it took a bit of time for the AC to work its magic. I’ve used it for a few days now, and I can say I’m happy with it for the most part. I did find today, 5-14-2024 that my bedroom did heat up a bit and I had to place a small fan in front of the AC to elongate the air column coming from the AC. It’s now 2:15am on 5-15-24 and my room is nice and chilly, which is really what I need. My central AC started blowing warm air late last week, and I ordered this AC unit out of desperation and necessity (I’m in Florida!) to use in my bedroom until I can have the central unit fixed or replaced. I also ordered because my cats were seeming to be uncomfortable too in the daytime heat of the house, and I didn’t want that for them. They have taken to lying near the unit on my desk table, or on top of the machine itself. I do recommend finding a way to place a barrier on top of the AC unit as the panel is touch activated and little cat toes will change settings if cats jump on it and walk around. I solved this problem for the moment by using the styrofoam tray from the bottom of the AC to cover the top of it, and that way, my cats can lie on it and I’m not constantly having to jump up and tinker with the settings my cats changed while being cats lol. Use it every summer I love it. Noise is loud but we like it when we sleep, easy to install, serves its purpose. It can leak sometimes but you just have to keep draining it here and there. Durability is good and the design is nice. The top where the buttons are, they are very sensitive, my cats love to jump on it and change stuff but it does come with lock option and it’s perfect for that. I would recommend Read more

Good product, it does its job well. It has wheels for easy movement around the house, although it’s a bit heavy. To cool my 4x4 meter room, it takes around 20 minutes before you start feeling the difference. I should add that I live in a place where the average temperature is around 100 degrees. I've been using it for quite a while now—it's a solid option if you want to avoid the hassle of installation. Read more
