I was experiencing neck pain from sleeping. Since I didn't have a neck or cervical pillow I wasn't sure what, exactly, I needed. This cervical pillow was my first attempt. What a pleasant surprise! My neck pain caused from sleep has subsided! The pillow is supportive and comfortable. It's soft enough, breathable and cool. There are several different angles you can choose (for side sleeping, back etc). I am a smaller person (petite, 5'2). I am finding that out of the 2 longer edges of the pillow; the edge that is slightly curved in (that doesn't jut out) isn't as high and supports me perfectly. I got this pillow for me and it didn't work out because I'm a stomach sleeper and couldn't get comfortable with it, so I gave it to my husband (a back and side sleeper) and he loves it. He said it's completely helped with his shoulder, neck, and back pain and has improved his sleeping posture a lot. Definitely glad we bought it. The memory foam is fairly firm and doesn't deflate so you really feel like your head is supported. For myself, I went with a Louvre down pillow just because it's more comfortable for sleeping on the front side. I love this pillow! Because it holds its form, is supportive, and really works. It has greatly helped in relieving neck pain from a car accident many years ago which left me with degenerating disc.
