Great replacement for Nintendo Switch mini dock wall warts
This perfectly replaces a USB C cable for a Genki Covert Dock v1 (Perhaps v2 as well?) as well as a Mirabox mini dock for Nintendo Switch. Also works with a ROG Ally 65W mini dock. Basically if you have a third party mini dock replacement wall wart for switch 1? This cable will do what you need it to. The main feature you need is Display Port capability over USB-C. Thunderbolt 4 meets that spec, and will work on any of these devices and then some. Nintendo Switch and third party docks is what I chose this for. It works great. I have been using it for months now with no issues. If this is what you need it for, get it. Way longer than the cables Mirabox and Asus will give you. Have not owned a Genki Covert Dock, but I'm confident this meets the spec. Read more
Incredible data transfer and charging rate!
I've used this for various tasks and it has performed very well for each of them! - I charged my son's PC and my Macbook quickly and effectively. It charged great - fast and stable output. - I used it to connect an external monitor that requires a higher data flow cable and it worked out gerat! - I've only ben using it for two months (too short to break one), but it is showing no sign of wear at all. Supports Most Usage Scenarios
(This review is for the Zinkydo USB 4 for Thunderbolt 4 Cable 3.3FT/1m.) So far, this cable has been able to handle everything I've thrown at it in terms of charging current, frequency, and speed. Yeah, I suppose it's overkill for some USB-C uses, but I really like the idea of being able to pull a cable from the drawer and use it for anything. I also like that the specs are printed directly onto the cable ends. All cables should be like that. Read more
Well made but stiff
Thick, durable feeling cable with solid connectors. Light years better than the cheap, obligatory cables that come packaged with most products these days. A little stiff - enough so that lighter devices won't lie flat due to the twist tension - but that's just a product of its more robust construction. Read more
Quality cable, no surprises & great value for the length
Very nice USB4 Gen3 cable capable of 40Gbps and compatible with Thunderbolt 4. The eMarker says the cable can support 240W charging and I was able to confirm at least PD 3.1 140W charging with the power supplies I have available to me. Connecting two MacBooks with this cable confirmed that the cable provided USB4/TBT4 connectivity and I was able to transfer files across at 38Gbps. The cable is thick and durable, but not too stiff for its thickness. The moulded cable relief boots on each end look durable and well made. Read more
