The card reader has done its job so far. The only thing I see that is a wrong is that it keeps telling me to enter my password multiple times. I do not know why. It could be that it is not eading my CAC card properly. It is easy to install. It's pretty durable. It connects me fast when it does coonnect. The cable length could have been a little longer. *** NO LONGER WORKS ON MAC *** My initial purchase years ago worked fine, but since I have gotten two and neither work on Mac. While reading the chipset - THE MANUFACTURER CHANGED THEIR CHIPSET. They are now using Alcor Micro 0x058F / 0x9540 which is NOT Macintosh supported. Also.. it's flimsy and poorly made. The USB plug will bend if taken in and out (which I do since it's a laptop). It will last a couple of months at best. Spend the extra $5for a name brand. Read more
