Works well to cool off one room but not a whole apartment. It’s pretty easy/simple to set up and use but lately it’s been shutting off even when it’s not full of water or needs to be emptied. It’s supposed to shut off or switch to fan mode once it’s cool enough but it was shutting off completely when it was still hot in the room. So not sure what that’s about but it worked well for a month or so before that started happening. Read more

Bought this unit back in May, plugged it in and it worked fine but this was long before the heat and humidity rolled in up in NH. Needed it for a guest room that is 12x12 which this unit should have had no problem cooling. It was a hot weekend and there was no way I could get the temp in the room lower than 72 degrees even when I lowered it to 65. So I had unhappy hot guests. Not to mention that this unit is supposed to be quiet especially when on the sleep mode. Absolutely not!!! I could hear it upstairs from my bedroom. What hurts most is that I bought it on the payment plan and I'm still paying for it, which is a constant reminder of a very expensive door stop. I never write bad reviews but this one is definitely a buyer beware. Read more
