The media could not be loaded. I just got it TODAY but so far seems fair enough for what I paid. Disclosure I have never owned any type of AC. Easy to assemble. Took 10m to actually read manual and then 10m to unbox (don’t turn upside down or tilt too much to cut straps on bottom!) AND set up :) It’s noisy but all non-central ACs have noise. There is a rattling sound though and that doesn’t seem right. It comes and goes. You can hear it kick in when I show the back of the unit in the video I’ve posted. I’m still researching. I got this AC because the SoCal coast has been getting more and more humid (up in 80% and even that in my home- no good!) So I wanted to dry out my place or even use it as a dehumidifier at times. Although nice looking it’s going to be bulky as a proper venting portable. I’m okay with that. Unfortunately I’m in an apartment where I can’t have a window unit. Otherwise I would have gone that route for better electricity costs as well. I won’t know for a few days yet how much the thing will suck up money. Hope it’s really cost efficient as reported. Make sure to seal window kit. Park of the window kit was chipped about a dime size. You can’t see it and doesn’t affect the usage. My living room is cool after 1hr set at 68. But hasn’t turned off. Hope the auto temp and on/off works. I don’t want to have to manually turn on/off. Will update in a few months! Read more

I live in a mobile home which gets SO hot. I had 2 large older units and when one broke this spring I was too broke to replace it until late Aug. I could only afford this smaller unit and was worried if it would work out. I was pleased..it worked GREAT!! It was much cooler and more powerful than my older units, and the air blew a cross the livingroom, where my old unit I couldn't feel it unless standing directly in front of it. I am very happy with it and it is much easier to maneuver around than my old larger heavier units were. I plan on getting a 2nd unit for next summer. Read more
