I just received this and used it that night in my bedroom. It cooled down my room in no time. I slept very well. It worked very well. I do live in a tiny home, so my bedroom is small. But it was more than effective for my bedroom. It was easy to install. I might by one for my living room even though I do have central heat/air. I rather have something that is more cost efficient. I don't need to use the dehumidifier, as I live where there is dry heat. Overall I am happy with my purchase. If anything changes, I will update my review. Read more

The unit is not too heavy and is very easy to set up. The directions are clear. We bought the unit to augment our central air conditioning because our master bedroom on the top floor was zoned with a lower level and didn't get enough cooling. The unit worked well for about one week before it started cycling on and off during the night whenever the compressor would kick in. This kept waking us up. We called the vendor and described what was happening. They asked that we provide them with a video of the unit cycling on and off and they confirmed that the unit was defective. Once submitted, they worked with us to rectify the situation and offered a full refund without return of the old unit. Since the colder weather is approaching and the unit will not be needed for the winter, this was acceptable to us. The vendor was courteous and responsive. We will probably purchase another one next year. Read more

It works in the sense that it blows cold air. However, it did not keep the room even sort of cool unless you were sitting directly in front of it. We kept it because we live in the south and every hurricane season we're left without A/C so we figured this was better than nothing. But for the room I intended this for- I went and got a $130 window unit from Walmart and it works great. Read more

Great portable ac for the price! Fairly lightweight (enough to rest in a small table). Hose and cords are long enough to reposition as needed, added to a window ac unit, a single bedroom apartment is kept very cool. Very quiet running mode, too. Read more
