Unit cools, just not as well as I expected.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: ​Purchased this unit because of of listed cooling capacity of 10,000 BTUs. Information said it was capable of cooling 400SF which was perfect for our <300 SF bedroom. Price of the unit was also a factor in my decision. Functionality: I believe the listed BTUs and SF are a bit of an exaggeration, the unit has struggled to cool my bedroom today with the outdoor temperatures in the low 90s here in Colorado. The thermostat seems to be 4 or 5 degrees off. The unit has been running all day trying to keep the temperature at 70 degrees but room temperatures climbed into the mid 70s. Read more
