Before I changed to this battery it was easier to just leave my controller plugged in all the time. The installation is relatively simple but be warned that the battery is a couple of mm thicker than the OEM battery and may require some work to make it fit properly. Easier to install than expected. Watch out for the little metal flaps on the underside of the faceplate; they can fall off easily. Best to find a good tutorial on YT. I find battery life to be much better now with this installed. I don't game for too long, maybe 2-3 hours at a time tops, but with the original battery a session would leave me with one bar or less remaining, whereas now the same sessions leave me with two full bars. After scouring the internet for a dualsense edge battery, I was getting even closer to the idea that I would have to buy a new controller. When this one came out of nowhere on google at a pretty cheap price. Now that it is in, the battery not only holds a charge but it lasts almost an entire day wireless. The charging is pretty quick as well. 5/5 would buy again (but I wont need to since it comes in a two-pack) Read more
Last hours easy to install, double the battery life of the original. Really worth the upgrade also you can charge this battery with any usb c charger compared to the orginal battery where you had to use the cord that came with the controller. Read more
The media could not be loaded. After installing this extended battery, your controller, the USB-C cable will not close all the way it won’t be flush as the the original one Read more
Batteries last a hell of a lot longer in both of my dual sense edge controllers, no complaints, of course suggest changing the battery if you ever purchase a dual sense edge controller because the OEM battery sucks you can fully charge it up and then the controller may only last an hour and a half to two and a half hours. Works fine no complaints Read more
Doesn’t work. Installed it and set it to charge went to work for 8 hours when I got home controller is completely unresponsive. I recommend only if you wanna give away money. Read more
Swapped out stock battery from my edge. Charged up, palyed for about an hour and the battery showed 1 bar. Continued to play for another 20 mins ,dead battery. Took apart edge ,put 2nd new battery in ,charged up ,battery didnt fit as well as first new battery, put together ,let charge . Gamed for an hour ,showed 2 bars,continued gaming ,battery dead 34 mins later. I dont think these are as well as stock edge batteries unless I've got duds.
