The media could not be loaded. Wow where to begin. The instructions are completely minimal. And as usual for goods from China… the incorrect English words are used to describe things. The touch pad on top is completely unresponsive when you take it out of auto mode, if you are using the drain tube (which by the way is NEVER mentioned in the instructions how to hook it up…). The water capacity is literally 2-3 cups… so you need the hose to drain more. And the drain tray must be removed for the hose to be used, but this trips an error and the unit doesn’t like the water tray missing. And… speaking of which, when shipped, they cram all kinds of parts inside the water tray and give VERY poor directions on how to open the SEALED water tray. Very afraid I would break it and it took 20 minutes to figure out how it opens. And that flex drain tube, instead of coiling it properly, they shove it into the box and bend it, which makes a permanent crease/restriction in the drain hose…. This product is made by people who aren’t concerned with the actual details of practical use. And those touch controls??? INVISIBLE on the unit! They light up when powering on for 3 seconds then disappear. Save yourself the headache. Anyone who says this unit is actually built well and useful and easy to use is either deceptive or has very low standards. Read more

I got this mainly to keep my 3D printing filaments dry and so far it’s doing a great job. In just a few hours it brought the humidity down from about 60% to the low 20s which is exactly what I need for filament storage. Very helpful in keeping prints consistent. What I didn’t expect was how handy the humidifier function would be. When I’m not printing I switch it over to humidify the room a bit, mostly for my plants. It saves me from having to buy a separate machine which is a nice bonus. It’s also compact, quiet and easy to use. The only thing is you might need to empty the tank fairly often if you’re in a very humid area. But overall it has been a great multipurpose little machine for me. Read more

I don’t recommend for trying to alter/control the humidity of a small bedroom. It may be great right next to your bed or within 3 ft of where you want it. It has very low capacity and weak output. I cannot seem to get it to run consistently, regardless of setting. It is built with decent quality, easy to use and is budget friendly. I was wanting to control humidity for guitars and this won’t cut it for that. It is worth the extra cash if you need to reliably control humidity. Read more
