Pushes Very Cold Air, Portable, Keep Cool Sleeping
At only 32 pounds, this 5200BTU air conditioner is as portable as they get. It has a handle that makes carrying it a breeze. It can cool a two person tent, but will work even better in a more insulated RV or small bedroom. The AC comes with two hoses, a hose connector for the hot air exhaust and a hose connector for the front cold air output. You can attach the two hoses to the back of the unit to vent hot air from inside to outside. Alternatively, you can attach the two hoses to the front cold air section and vent cold air into a tent, RV, etc. while the main AC sits outside. I ordered this unit to keep me cool while sleeping in outdoor camping situations. The noise level is low and it blows out very cool air so I am certain it will improve my sleep quality while camping. It also has a sleep mode that is more energy efficient for use at night. I let this unit sit in an upright position overnight before powering it on and I would suggest that for any type of air conditioner that has been shipped. Once out of the box, just plug it in and it works, it’s as easy as that. The portable AC comes with a remote control, but the battery is not included. You will need to purchase a CR2025 battery in order to take advantage of the remote control features.
