I had been watching this one for a while, and when the price dropped $15 I pulled the trigger. It arrived quickly. I have to say (and I don’t often) I am impressed. Every piece individually wrapped for protection, and mounted in the box in cardboard inserts to insure no movement or damage in shipment. Very clear instructions for assembly when in reality, with one step in exception, it was really common sense assembly that could be done without any instructions. I am so used to instructions in broken English from products made in China, it was a surprise. I cannot find anywhere that tell where this is made. Putting the iPad or other device holder on the ball joint, remove the collar first. Other than that assembly is really self explanatory unless you happen to be one who can’t brush your teeth without poking your eye out. It holds my iPad well, and the only complaint I saw in other reviews is correct. If you want to put it, say, at the edge of a bed with the upper arm extending out in front of you, it will not articulate to allow the screen to be aligned flat in front of you. For my use that is not an issue and it is the ONLY issue I can see with this setup. The base is heavy and is very stable even fully horizontal to the floor. The two joints on the upper arm hold well and are adjustable with an allen wrench which is included. For me, well worth the extra money over the cheaper ones I tried, and not THAT much cheaper! Being $60 this one is pricer than the $20 generic ones on here but this is worth it. My last 3 tablet arms/stands all broke at the clamping ball joint part and most of them had tension issues with holding up a Samsung S9 12" tablet I use where it would sag... not this one. I threw all my old ones out after around a year or less. This one has a heavier base making it way studier than all my previous cheap ones and the joints are all adjustable where u can tighten with an allen key. The white looks sleek and all metal. This product just feels durable and sturdy. Best purchase within this kind of product I made. If on the edge and unsure of the quality of stands ... go with this one. Read more

This thing is amazing! I would rather watch TV on my tablet using this so that I can put it where I need it. It’s so adaptable to the position that you need you can use it by the bed or by your chair or buy a table. It’s it’s lightweight, but does not tip over. If you buy one, you’re going to love it. This is a good quality stand. I’m using it to hold my iPad while I’m on the treadmill. Easy to assemble, just be sure and read the instructions before assembly. It comes with an Allen wrench to tighten the joints once you have it in the best position. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble and get it adjusted to the position I wanted. After reading some reviews of others that were half the price, I decided to go with this one and am very happy with it. I don’t believe it’s too expensive considering it’s holding a $800 iPad. Better safe than sorry. Additionally, if it doesn’t seem stable enough for you, just put a weight on the base as it’s large enough for that. Maybe a dumbbell or something like that. Read more
