The unit arrived quickly, in about a week, and was packaged well. It is quite heavy, but easy to unpack and move around once out of the packaging thanks to the handles. It was easy for me to install and set up by myself. So far it is quiet and seems to cool very well although it is not too hot here yet. I love the remote and timer option. The media could not be loaded. I took a chance on buying this unit for my living room during a heatwave, and I am pleasantly surprised. The unit arrived rather quickly, and the box appeared to be in good condition, considering how heavy these things can be (see attached picture). All the parts inside were easy to locate, and removing the unit from the box was straightforward. Setting it up was also relatively simple. After taking it out of the box, I wheeled it over to my window and just had to slide the hose in place and screw it onto the window bracket; the small screws on the window bracket were a nice touch. It did have a slight odor when I turned it on, but that cleared up after a few minutes of running. I was curious where the thermostat was on this unit and its on the back under the filter because I know some units have it on the remote. Overall it's looks like a solid product from Taiwan, and it comes with a 2-year warranty vs the other guys, so I'll update this review if anything happens. Update 6/6/24 It still runs great, added in a video from the couch to show off the noise (high fan setting, compressor was running). I think the only thing missing that I kind of ignored last summer is some tape for the gaps in the window bracket, but looking through other products I noticed thats common with any window bracket on these portables. I’m very happy with this product. It shipped quickly and was very easy to install in the window. I usually pay someone to install ACs so this was a huge value add. I like that I can keep the window screen down as well. The only issue is that the window panel extension feature will leave a tiny sliver open, but I’m planning to cover that with tape. As for the product itself, it’s got a sleek design and looks great. It also is very effective in cooling the room quickly and is much quieter than other ACs I’ve had. The remote control is a nice addition too. I like being able to switch between AC and fan mode, and being able to change the temperature from my bed at night. Read more

This thing cools very well, no issues in that department. it's very well-built. moving it around is fine as long as you don't have a stray grain of rice on your floor (too heavy for its tiny stiff wheels to roll over anything). the drainage outlet is at the very bottom of the unit which is super inconvenient for draining as the wheels don't prop it up enough to fit any kind of pan under it that isn't shallow enough to just dump the water onto the floor when you pick it up (ask me how I know, you'll never guess), and I'm not sure where they expect you to drain with a hose as putting the hose through the window seems like it'd be steep enough to just back up the tank. I don't know many people that have drainage holes in any room but their bathroom, so the position of this vital piece of the unit is baffling. now for my main gripe: the exhaust system is AWFUL. the threads on the exhaust tube's mount run opposite of the hooks on the window panel connector, so turning the panel to line up with your window will pop the mount out and vice-versa. if you're like most people, your window has a well in which the pane rests when closed. the panel this unit comes with is way too vertically narrow to be compatible with any windows i've ever seen, making it unsecure and terrible for insulation. if I move the unit at all, the whole panel pops out. once or twice it just popped out on its own. I wondered why my room was so hot despite literally running a brand new ac for the past two hours only to go to the window and see it had popped out on its own, actively heating my room with exhaust air rather than cooling it. I put a good chunk of change into this thing and am honestly a little disappointed with just how little thought went into some aspects of it. buy it if somehow none of these things apply to you. I have had trouble with the exhaust hose. It came lose from the fitting/fixture to attach to the AC. other than that, it really cools a large room. I will figure out how to reattach the hose/clamp. I know, sounds easy- but it's not! but I have lots of duct tape... Read more

Great portal AC unit! Set up is simple enough for anyone to use, works great so far. Machine is easy to operate and seems very powerful so far. The unit comes with pieces allowing you to confirm the unit to the window and create a nice seal avoiding the loss of cool air that you can have with other air conditioners. Life changer! Read more
