Quieter than expected

This has been a good a/c unit so far. It's way quieter than I thought it would be. It's about the same noise level as my tower fan. The Swing pannel is the loudest thing about it. When you have it on swing mode, the flap tends to click. If you just leave it up...no issues with annoying clicking sound. I love that it has the swing function, however, it can only by utilized with the remote control. That's not an ideal situation. You should be able to operate it from the control panel on the unit as well. Heaven forbid you lose the remote... or it breaks. I do like that it's portable and easy to move from room to room. It has good cooling power. I have it in my Big living room and it keeps it nice and cool. It cools a really good amount of space. It was fairly easy to install and run the drain hose outside. So far, I'm pretty impressed with the quality and cooling abilities of this. I do love how quiet it is too. You don't have to crank up the television to hear it over the a/c. Huge selling point for me. I think the price is really reasonable. I have 4 a/c units...3 cost more than this one, but this unit is just as good. Very impressed with this a/c unit!!
