I previously ordered 3 other similar products. All had issues… complicated / confusing, cheaply made and not secure in grip, part that holds the tablet was too tiny and didn’t adjust to make a firm grip etc. None of them worked well with an iPad mini. BUT THIS DEVICE DOES EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! It holds my iPad Mini perfectly! It doesn’t matter if it has the slim folding case on or not. It works in a couple of ways on the plane ( so it works well with different aircraft types ) It is well made, holds the device snugly and is modestly priced. I like how versatile this unit is, but the first thing I noted when I began using it on my 'theater chair' mini table that has a 'shiny' or 'slick' surface is that is slid off of it pretty easy. If I wasn't moving about (or having lap dogs jumping on me) it was ok, but if I needed to adjust it a bit or it was nudged, it would come off easy. If the surface has a little more 'grip' (like the table I'm currently using it on next to my office desk) it holds on a little better. The charging area for the cord to fit through is going to require the 'right' cord to fit through it. I do have a more 'substantial' cord that I'm currently using , and while it IS being held in place, it's not as secure as I'd like it. Noted, but now I'll have to find a cord that it'll work with in my collection, or maybe make a modification to the unit. Still for the price it's not too shabby. Read more

This tablet holder has worked well for us so far. It grips well enough onto most of the surfaces we've tried, like smooth counters, tables, and desks. It also holds the tablet well with a thin case on it, no complaints there at least on initial testing. The design is reasonably low-profile as well, not too big and bulky. It's easy enough to set up and adjust for what we've needed as well. Overall, not a bad option and not a bad value for the price. Read more

Very surprised here! I have a heavier tablet; the Lenovo Tab Plus. This thing is heavy with a big back end to cater to it's awesome speaker setup. With that in mind, I was worried my tablet wasn't going to work with this. Turns out... It totally did! I recently took a trip to Greece and used it on the flight! I was able to hang it on the folded up tray table to basically mimic the screens on the back of the normal airplane chairs. With this, I had my quality screen with my downloaded movies with no interruption from the captain or flight crew! (I dislike when the movie or show pauses with a notice. However I get the safety of it all) I did have to tighten down quite a bit to make it work with my tablet from it's weight, but once I found the sweet spot, it was great! Great angle. This is a review of the vizzicool Airplane Tablet Holder Mount HandsFree 360° Adjustable Mount, Fits 5.9"-9.8" Devices. This came in pieces and did not have any instructions for how to assemble it. The listing claims this has 360 degree rotation and tilt, but that is not exactly accurate. It can rotate 360 degrees, but it can not tilt in all directions and angles. It only tilts down with a wide range of tilt to the front or to the back. If you try to tilt it when it is facing either side, it is blocked and only tilts a little; so, you cannot really tilt it for use if it is facing either side. You have to make it face the front or the back if you want to tilt it more than a little. The clamp part only opens to 0.75 inches; one of the pictures shows this holder mounted on a table or desk that is hinged over and looks a couple inches thick. The clamp part does not open anywhere near that wide; so if you need a holder that will attach to something thicker than about 0.75 inches, I do not recommend this. Since my use for this is attaching it to my airplane tray table when I fly, that is not a problem as this opens wide enough to fit them (at least the ones I have had so far). This is still quite functional and useful. It is heavier than I would like because it will add weight to my personal item / carry on, but overall I am happy with this. Read more
