These are excellent backup readers in the car. I bought mine so I know i'll have some readers around in a convenient spot in the car - just slide this case and glasses into a pocket or nook, and you'll know you can still read things if you forget your readers at home. They stick surprisingly well to my nose, as there is nothing that will hold them other than a pinch. The lenses are clear and things are magnified exactly as I expected. Frankly, I bought these on a whim: wondering if they could actually work. Now I know: THEY DO WORK. In fact they are absolutely great. I am wearing them now, and intend to make them my ‘go to’ reading glasses. The pince nez style holds them securely for reading and moving around the house, but probably not recommended for fast motions. I cannot recommend these strongly enough; they are great. These use ridged nose pieces and optical grade polycarbonate lenses. I have found that a 1 to 1.5 power lens works best for me; 2 power was a bit distracting. I was quite surprised, but I highly recommend these. P.S. The aluminum case that comes with these is superb, easy to use, sturdy, and, if desired, easy to stick to your phone. Oh, and they are incredibly flat, so you can put them (case and all) in a pocket, unnoticeably. Read more

I rate it 5* because these meet my needs. If you think you will run with these... nope. If you think you will read a lot - nope (soon you'll feel some disconfort). However, if you only need glasses from time to time... like me... when shopping for example, and I need to read label's small text - that's the right use... for me. The most compact glasses I ever found. Although I keep them in my wallet, I could stick the case to my phone, or have the keychain case... These are perfect for me. Product was of good quality, seller shipped quickly but the case needs to be redesigned. Lenses are easily scratched placing and removing from the case. In my opinion the case needs to be redesigned with some sort of velvet lining to prevent scratching of the lenses! Very disappointed in the case and the fact that the lenses scratched so quickly. There’s really no way to place the glasses back in the case without scratching them. Read more
