Bought it for my 98 year old Mother, but she did not want to deal with buttons. It was high quality cardigan with a collar to keep your neck warm. Beautiful buttons, too. I sent it to my 23 year old Granddaughter, and she was thrilled with the style and warmth. It was a medium which fit like a size 6. Because it is a button down, it is easy to layer for indoor versus outdoor temperatures. Read more

Terrible! This sweater pills horribly. The yard is super soft so it pills and the fibers separate and break down easily. I would not recommend buying this sweater. For the price the quality of yarn should be much better. Read more
Below is my original review of this sweater and now I want to add the following: After having taken this sweater to the dry cleaner, I am terribly disappointed that it shrunk so badly I can barely wear it. The sleeves are now too short, the entire length of the sweater has changed and it is too tight in the arms and the body. I have used this dry cleaner for many years without any problem. At the same time I had this new sweater cleaned, I took 3, 30+ year old Irish fisherman sweaters. Each of those came out perfectly. It makes me doubt the quality of the wool of this sweater. I am adjusting my rating. After having looked for a long time for a comfortable Irish knit sweater, I found this and couldn't be happier. It is extremely soft, very slightly fitted in the middle that prevents it from looking boxy, with perfect pockets for warming hands. I am 5'2", 130 lbs. and pear shaped. The M is absolutely perfect and it buttons completely without looking too tight at the hips. The sleeves are about 1" longer than I like, but I have short arms and they could be cuffed if I wanted to do that. The collar can be raised up on the neck for extra warmth, and also lays flat nicely. Although the buttons are not leather or shell, they are "tasteful" and look very nice. The sweater is warm enough to be used as a fall jacket, without feeling heavy and bulky. I think it's very unique in that regard. Beautiful to look at, very comfy. For those interested, the sleeve length from underarm seam to the end of the sleeve is 18 ½" and from the top of the shoulder where it meets the collar, the length is 26 ½". Read more

I ordered size L based on size chart. I am 1'.2", 130 lb. I usually wear US size S. So it fits large, I kept it, I will give it to my mother. Besides that, it's a nice cardigan. I don't know if I will be ordering another one. Read more
