I purchase Asurion Protection Plans for most electronics and especially TV’s that I not only can’t fix but, as handy as I know I am, I won’t even attempt to repair. These protection plans are a complete peace of mind as during the time the plan is in affect, you worry about nothing as your product is completely covered and if anything at all happens/breaks, you merely contact Asurion and they will walk you through the process of getting a fast repair or an even faster replacement depending on the situation. I love this company as there services are 2nd to none!!! I am not employed by Asurion or Amazon nor was I paid or otherwise compensated for this review. As it is always unhappy people who go out of their way to complain and leave negative reviews, I am that very rare happy customer who was so amazed by the customer service I got and the ease at which they replaced my broken product and had it back to me in 2 days, I just had to leave that uber rare positive review. I think for TV’s and other large ticket items that you know you can’t repair, these Plans are so reasonable and worth it so, you never have to worry and just enjoy every day!!! Read more

Please, please check these warranties!! I feel like a total idiot. I keep buying all of these Asurion Protection Plans for everything I buy on Amazon. Protection doesn’t mean protection. I bought this plan for my Brita Water Pitcher, accidentally dropped in sink and cracked top to bottom. Claim was denied, doesn’t cover drops unless it’s a laptop or something electric. They should not be allowed to sell “Protection Policies” for items that don’t fall into this narrow criteria. It’s not really a protection policy, it’s a ripoff. If you actually read policy it doesn’t cover most things at all. Read more

The product I purchased went bad about 2 years after the purchase date and Asurion refunded the purchase price. The product didn’t show up on my Asurion account, but I was able to use the Amazon order id and work with them to get the claim filed. Read more

It is very affective, and relatively quick and easy , overall experience is good so far in getting the claim. The item itself on the other hand had some faults as it short circuited despite being plugged into a surge protector. The plug was burned through. Read more
