They sell these plans as "extended coverage", except they only cover selective reasons, buried in the fine print. I bought "extended coverage" for a wireless video doorbell, as I checked out, a quick add for security. Eventually, during the extended coverage, someone punched in the motion detector (as it looks like a button) and the doorbell died. I was shocked when I was denied coverage because my "extended coverage" ONLY covers 'power surges'. WHAT? IT'S A FREAKING WIRELESS DOORBELL!! It ain't going to have power surges, DUH. Why was I even able to buy this when there never was coverage possible?! Never again; to have to fight for something you PAID for?!? That's plain evil. Read more

I purchased a portable monitor and the price of it apparently didn't match the price of the warranty because there was a coupon I clipped when I bought the monitor. Well when you checkout, there is only an option to buy the extended warranty for 3 years not a dollar amount. Asurion was able to fix this on their end and covered my issue which was a broken internal display. I sent my item back through a prepaid label and received my gift card to Amazon within 4 days of shipping the product back. Well worth it! Read more
