Exactly what I'm looking for: lightweight, professional-looking & FUNCTIONAL, without breaking the bank. I'm beginning filmmaking and this will be great to travel locations with me. It even includes a bag to carry it (and my tools) in, and a shutter remote, which I haven't used yet. Pros. It is very versatile in terms of ease of use. There are plenty of settings throughout that allow you to adjust the angle in any way you want, even straight up. It is strong enough to hold a projector with ease and the carry case makes it convenient for storage. The heightvit can reach is great for over the head shots or if mounting a projector, allowing the image to project over your head without worrying about you casting a shadow. It is lightweight which is nice for carrying, however that leads me to its con. Con. The whole thing is light, but because there is no counterweight on the base, using the flexible phone holder is non doable. A phone makes it top heavy and tip over if you have the arm bent to the side. So basically, the phone piece is only useful if you have the phone right over it's center of gravity. Aside from its one flaw, I am happy with this tripod and use it all the time as it suits my main purpose for it beautifully. I haven't used the remote feature at all, so no input on that. If not for the counterbalance problem I would have given it a 5 star. For its price its a great little device. Read more

This is my second time buying this....now before you say second time, user error caused me to break the first one and lose a screw so I decided just to get a new one! It's so easy to connect the remote up to your phone, I have an android and found no issues. I've only used it maybe within 10 feet, but it went through my wedding and another summer gathering with me and didn't have any issues. It stands pretty tall, all the way open I could stand comfortably. It's light weight and folds extremely small so no need to worry about transportation. I haven't found a spot to put the remote during transport so I threw it in the bag but also bought another one incase I lose it. I love being able to bring this for the holidays to get family pictures or to leave up and video tape my babies first Christmas. For the price, this has been my best investment! For my wedding, this help my iPad for a photobooth, but normally it holds my phone. Hughly recommend having one and even just leaving it in the car for those random picture moments! Read more
