Amazing pan, it is very well made, washes up good too. Read more
I've been a serious home cook for 50+ years. This is now my go-to pot. The vessel and lid are designed and constructed, together a solid weight without being too heavy. I seasoned it as instructed, re-season as needed - making it joy to cook with! I recycled my much used and loved other pot after cooking with this pot twice! If you're a serious cook, looking for new cookware, give this company a minute if your time. Read more
I have recently “started over” and I wanted a pot that could do it all, so to speak. I’m living my best minimalist life. The size is perfect for big and small quantities. I have made ramen, heated vegetables, made rice, etc. You could easily make 9 cups of rice (3 cups dry) in this porch maybe even 12. I make 3 cups (1 cup dry) and it barely covers the bottom. I have had zero issue with it sticking, and it washes beautifully. It’s thickness allows it to conduct and hold heat well. The quality of this pot is perfect. And its appearance is aesthetic, as far as cookware goes. Read more
Nicely designed pot with very flat bottom, suitable for glass/ceramic type electric range tops. Handle is comfortable and lid has small vent hole for steam. Read more
First time cooking with stainless steel. It definitely is something to get accustomed to. It boils water fast, though there's no "rolling" boil as I was accustomed to with my aluminum pots. Heated some things too hot because of it. It's easy to clean as long as you use hot water and decent soap. Read more
And I am really cooking a lot of gravy’s and stuff like that I even did test it on Deer meat . There was a slight discoloration like rainbow looking it went away by wiping it with Vinegar. If you heat it up right and put oil in it you won’t have any problems with meat sticking on pan. Read more
I bought this 3 qt pot a few months ago. It has a hole in it supposed-idly to prevent boil over, like after 60 yrs of cooking I have that as a problem. (Sarcasm in case you missed it) Went to take it out of the dishwasher, didn't even touch it, just close to it. The glass shattered all over the bottom of the dishwasher. I do not know why this happened. We do have Rinse in the dishwasher. It is a newer low water Bosh, it doesn't get that hot, I don't know if they build up static, but beware. You might want to hand wash the lid. I have had glass lids for 40 yrs and never had one crack or chip, yet alone shatter. As for the pot, it has aluminum rivets, handle to pot, which will be the area of weakness in the future. They stretch which will cause a wiggle, so this pot if it had a top, would only be good for a few years. I tried to go to the seller site ,but it only advertises more product and has no way to contact them with a problem. The pot works well on ceramic and with induction. Get some SOS or Brillo to keep the bottoms clean for good conduction of heat. Read more
