Things you didn’t realize you needed and were living without.. a heated toilet seat. Not only does it have that but also supplies warm water with two separate cleaning nozzles to clean different parts of your undercarriage. It has two different heat settings for the water and heated seat. It also beeps when you sit down and get up, I guess to activate and alert the mechanisms. My husband doesn’t like that but it doesn’t bother me. The unit replaces your existing toilet seat and easily assemblies in its place. Comes with a template for alignment then the unit slides right on the bracket and locks into place. There is also a release button to remove the entire seat for easy cleaning. The water supply hose hooks right up to your existing supply. The seat is electric so you will need an outlet nearby. I purchased a flatline plug so I could run it behind the vanity. Overall I think it took about 45 minutes to an hour to install. Mostly because we were working in a tight area and my husband had a problem getting one of the bracket screws through the existing hole in the toilet but with a little grease and coaxing got it to slide in. The unit also has a blow dryer but I feel this is too weak and just pat myself dry with toilet paper. It does come with little towels for that but I don’t use them. It also has a nightlight. The lid closes slowly. I’ve had the seat for about 4 months now and I really like it. I highly recommend it for the ladies as I wish I would’ve had something like this in my younger years. Plus those who have to assist seniors on the toilet this would have helped so much with cleaning them up instead of just trying to use toilet paper or wipes. We have been using this for 2 weeks now after having a handyman install it. It works extremely well for me and my wife is adjusting to it. Chose this one because it is the simplest of the electrics and has the lowest profile. Flip a lever and it works, push the big button if you need to - simple! Being a large man I was concerned I would not be able to reach it comfortably but there's no issue. It's low profile makes it look very much like an ordinary seat and it does not throw you forward like others but it is a little different than your regular seat. It does a great job cleaning! It seems to take about 20-40 seconds to get clean, then I wait another 30 seconds to air dry and I'm on my way. The water is warm enough and it seems to have enough pressure without using the "turbo wash". This is so much better than wiping with paper - no "racing stripes"! The media could not be loaded. So I received it on time but ended up put it away in storage for just about 8 months ... finally got it out & put it on with a brand new toilet, it was reasonably & surprisingly easy for the install, seat warming is ok, light function works and is also ok & seat is comfortable although it doesn't seem to match up with the upper cover (maybe that's just the design?) - HOWEVER - the little spray nozzles in the back under the seat do not work correctly at all. They simple trickle out water in the back of the toilet . I started to fiddle with it for a bit and I think I understand how they're suppose to protrude out from under the little flap they're behind and spray but they don't come out at all ... they're just a "WEE" shy, I guess, but isn't that the entire & exact reason to have the water function ?! ... MINE DOESNT WORK CORRECTLY AT ALL ! Hopefully, just maybe customer service will stand behind their product - we'll find out in the morning when I call and ask... stay tuned - I'm praying for a great customer friendly service experience in order to try & negotiate a great outcome & maybe, just maybe it's something very simple? We have a one piece Kohler toilet, no hot water inlet and a low plug a few feet away. I have been looking for the right bidet for several years without success. Many of them do not fit one piece toilets and having a cold stream hitting my bum was not something I wanted. Finally figured out to google all my needs for a bidet, and this one popped up. Brilliant! and Amazon was having a black friday sale - SCORE!!!! I was worried something used or defective would show up, but it was sealed up tight in its box and looked never touched by human hands. The installation took awhile, the instructions weren't clear on my particular model and could have been better. It's also VERY tricky to install the t-valve. Honestly, it takes two people so you don't screw up your flush valve inside the tank. The first time I tried it out, it was unplugged and yes, the water shot me in the face. Don't be like me! Don't turn the knob until you're good and plugged in. Also, the beeping was so annoying! I actually called biobidet to ask how to turn it off - "to turn off the beeping on the BB500 and BB550, hold the seat temp button on the right side of the seat, for 2 seconds." I also purchased an extension cord for the plug, and anchors so its not flopping around the bathroom. The seat is toasty warm, the water is nicely heated, sprays in just the right spots and no more stumbling to the toilet in the dark. Its like a little beacon in the middle to the night. I've been bidet-ing so much since we've gotten it, and good grief, I have NEVER felt so clean. My bum is also super happy about being treated so nicely. I'm not sure how long this thing will last, its got alot of gadgets, bells and whistles so its time is probably limited, so I cannot report of longevity.
